well, I am very positive and happy tonight. That is despite major farming problems and troubles galore. Don't care about "Lennon out" or who's crap and who's naw crap and that if Boyd had scored instead of hiiting the inside of the post it would be different....just delighted the St Mirren won today. Took my daughter to the local pub for darts and fun chat and a half pint of lager for her....now home for a couple of beers to celebrate a rare win for St Mirren. COYS

this is all terrible and it truly is an awful time to be a St Mirren supporter but I am pretty confident we will be kicking off next season in the Premiership.....One way or another...maybe via the play offs. For this season and this season only we will accept that right now!

I like the sound of much of that above. Goodwin retains his place in the back four allowing DD to play in midfield. He wasn't brought to St Mirren to sit on the bench. he will have been told there is to be no diving in or stupid yellow cards. I think Campbell has to play and if Danny is brave he will structure the team to suit his pace, enterprise and drive...not quite sure how he will do that but that is why he is the highly paid St Mirren manager.

I wonder if Danny might leave Thommo out and go with the pace of Campbell up front, supported by the equal = pace of Wylde and Teale and the little pace but exceptional skills of McGowan. It would be brave, and plenty would give him major pelters if it didn't work, but that change might be the very thing.

compare the McAusland penalty and red card with the almost identical Van Dike of Celtic V Kilmarnock challenge in the box....no penalty, no foul no card "play on" said the ref. If the McAusland challenge had been made by Van Dike then there is no chance it would have been a penalty and red card. NONE. And the JG yellow card was an outrageous disgrace. St Mirren/Danny have to speak up even louder against the injustice....week after week after week it happens.

IF it was the start of the season and Novo turned up looking for a club, super fit, rattling in goals and impressing in training, great, get him signed and he would have been good for 10 goals for us. But he didn't impress with Morton enough for Shiels... to keep him at a level below our's. and it is hard to see how he could suddenly raise his game and be any good for us. . But if he signs I don't care who he used to play for or what he said about anything or anybody. If he is wearing the stripes I will be right behind him. But, I don't think he will!

jeezo, I thought we should have gone for Iwelemu. Some mocked the idea of him playing for St Mirren but you can be sure he will score goals for St J. That is irking me now, after the Dicker thing. I hope Danny and Tommy are going to strengthen us .....otherwise.... I wonder if Iwelemu is keen on another Hampden appearance to try and make up for that miss. Maybe he wouldn't have came to us anyway.
