Very creditable performance all things considered. Look at the diffence between the 'pedigrees' of both teams - Scotland mostly journeymen, Engerlund mostly highly paid superstars. Could have got the win with a bit of luck.

You're right about DL's recent success, but bear in mind that the squad we had last season was by far the best we've had in donkeys years. That couldn't be said about the current squad given the quality we've lost. I won't slag him off, but he needs to fill some very obvious gaps. Talking a good game doesn't count - actions do.

Just got home and saw the result. Very glad I've had a few sherbets! Pre season or not, this is sh*te! No way should we be shipping 12 goals in three games. Certainly looks as though we are sadly lacking in key positions.
