Started watching the Good place on Netflix last night, Ted Danson stars as a kind of St Peter character, short episodes, worth watching, I would give it 7/10.

Brilliant movie, Tarantino movies definitely walk a narrow line, however he prides himself on hiring a diverse cast. I wonder how long until some bright spark wants Django unchained banned, that truly would be the day irony died.

A little closer to home, we have some distinct ties with the slave trade here in Paisley, Cotton street, Charleston, etc . We also have a statue of Mr Coates who at one point owned the largest thread company in the world. Although distanced from the raw commodity of cotton, he and the people of Paisley benefited hugely from the cotton industry. ( fact check) I haven’t researched this post fully, he may have sourced cotton from Egypt, as there is an area just behind the old RAI called Egypt Park on old maps which may be a link to the cotton trade.

I have to disagree Ricky, in the before time (pre-lockdown) I would generally just logon to check the speculation thread or comment on a match thread and the likes, however having more spare time recently I have read more threads and probably spent far to much time in general nonsense. During this time I have got to know the styles and character of the posters. Generally speaking we could all do with being a little kinder to each other, however I perceive it a bit like being in your car and driving in heavy traffic, your cocooned in a bubble that think is impermeable, there for you can rant and rave at others with little if any comeback. I don’t agree with everything that gets said on here, but I do find it interesting ( special mention to shull and his stmirren history and pictures of Paisley) I don’t use social media other than what’s app so it’s difficult for me to compare it with anything else. Maybe we could run a poll to gather users thoughts on the subject and maybe someone could create a graph to highlight the results ( sorry Oaky, couldn’t resist 😂)

ALL the season ticket holders should be recompensed for the season finishing early. I had suggested in a earlier post that the club could give a 25% discount towards the new strip.
