Think it was 9-6 in the end but was 8-1 with about 20 minutes to go. Wasn't a good night for the bibs, combination of terrible finishing (mostly from myself), giving away the ball, poor defending and sometimes just really bad luck with the ball taking a major deflection into the net. 4 goals in the space of a couple of minutes gave us hope but it was too little too late!

Must be strange for him to go from playing against ameuters a few weeks ago (Port glasgow) to playing against a team with first team internationals like Cabaye and Cisse.

Think one of the late drop outs was a bib last week so maybe just stick one of the newcomers in to replace him. 16 players is right, we always play 8 aside now since the pitch is so big, must of been a while since you played .

Can't see any reason why he would want to go to Hibs even if we wanted to let him. He's a Saints fan on very good wages and playing in the first team. Not to mention he was captain when Goodwin and Thommo weren't playing last year and has a league cup winners medal.

Surely an 11 team league would have a huge knock on effect to all the other teams. It would mean everyone would play 3 games less before the split and the bottom 6 (Now 5) only play 4 games after it therefore a big loss of matchday income. No Edinburgh derby to put on Sky. No automatic relegation spot means less to play for at the bottom as well.

So if Hearts are liquidated the 'Scottish Premiership' or whatever it is called now would go ahead with 11 teams and no automatic relegation? What a shambles.

I agree but DL must rate Roberston or he would have let him go and with Mcgregor fit again it looks like Goodwin might end up back in midfield. Hopefully not since he played in defence against stockport and we kept a clean sheet.

I wonder if Campbell will be in the squad for the game tomorrow.

Seen an statement from Pardew a few days ago saying Campbell would be loaned out for first team football if Newcastle sign another striker, Hartlepool were interested among others.

We all know how good Newton can be and big things are expected from Campbell at Newcastle so would be perfect partner for Thommo if we could get him.

Roberston and Goodwin both play holding midfield, Mcginn could play there if needed and we also have 3 other central midfielders.

Don't really get why we were trialling the midfielder from Newcastle as it's the one area we have a lot of option but if we bring him in on loan and Newcastle are still paying most of his wages then why not. A striker is obviously needed as Thommo and Reilly are pretty much all we have. Don’t think Vanzy is up to scratch to be our first choice right back either but it seems unlikely we will bring in a right back unless it is on loan.

Is last weeks victorious bibs team still intact?

Could blame DL for not tying anyone down, could blame the board for not providing enough money for him to get who he wants.. who knows. Maybe Newcastle have a left back going spare.

Hope it's not one of those guys off Geordie Shore, they put Dougie Imrie's tan to shame.

Seems unlikely he'll join us now if Carlisle are interested since he was wanting a move back down south. Which takes us back to square one with no left back and the season starting in a week.

I think Mcginn would do a good job as the sitting midfielder, I much prefered Goodwin at CB last year.

I drive up and down the M8 and over the erskine bridge to work and back and there's always people right up your arse even if your are going 70 in the outside lane to overtake. Think it's unfair to blame young drivers though, there are bad drivers of all ages and on average young people aren't any worse than others.

Let's go with that, makes us both look better

There was no denying our penalty this week, punched away from 2 yards out! I was quite glad actually because I think it was going wide.
