  1. The late great Danny Kyle lived up Renfrew road across from KFC. Danny was a family friend last time I was with him was when he took me to STV studios in Glasgow and bumped In to Glen Michael ! He brought Billy Connolly to our house in the 80s good wee night he was a great folk singer , happy days
  2. She'd a few tears also , stunning performance fromMurray
  3. In Leeds Millenium square watching on Giant screen , place packed stunning atmospshere ! Andy Murray #doingscotlandproud
  4. Leeds city centre packed ! Watching it on big screen in millennium square
  5. Do not splash the cash or else we will be in keech again !
  6. Lots of CB users had wee calling cards you would collect other people's and dish yours out happy days at the time Was good going upto car park in sky if someone had a car otherwise my uncle lived in Herriot court signal was great
  7. If David Weir wasn't managing them , there would be no coverage. Our media always follow ex OF , Newco personnel Clearly we have no other football related stories in Scotland.
  8. In the days before the Internet a good way of interacting was on your CB Radio and for me , that was back in the 80's. A midland 80 channel , biscuit tin , dv27 , swa meter to get your 1.1 signal choose a handle head for channel 19 & break 19 a copy happy days & sometimes go mobile if you knew someone with a car and a mag-mount off upto car park in the sky My handle was 'Majestic' which I just randomly chose out the racing section of the paper. Did you have and use a CB ? If so what was your handle & was it a match for the Internet ?
  9. As far as I'm aware , they decided to keep it internal. Was not open for candidates outside the relative organisations. We ideally need new faces at the helm of our football authority.
  10. Magnificent performance , he now responds well to the pressure. That was digging deep & self belief at its best Well done Andy
  11. Sort of hope not I would rather he wasn't kept busy by the opposition
  12. Ok , I use the term 'leadership' loosely but with it not being open for an application process that leaves Longmuir & Doncaster as only candidates. Can things ever improve under these guys ? I don't think so which is a shame no external candidates were invited to apply.
  13. Obviously nobody can be sure 2 at least you would imagine but of course based on what you said 3/4 would be about right & welcome.Either way its always good to see new faces at the club
  14. Welcome to all of them. Hope they don't get pre-judged before playing for us.The relevance of the players will become so , once they have turned out for St Mirren. 2 more signing next week will be welcome.Nice to see the team get freshened up.
  15. Sad to report yet another person hit by a bus in town today ! Been a few in recent times.
  16. The first set looked ominous , but she done well 3-5 down I'm second to turn it around That's the mentality required , believe !
  17. Welcome to St Mirren. I hope he is not character assassinated before he kicks a ball for us !
  18. Might seem an off thing to say , but the administrators of Hearts are behaving in a much more accepting & dignified way than another club that got sent to div 3. I was reading how they have responded to sanctions given & sanctions to come & just feel they are going about business in a quick , clean professional manner.
  19. Would be good if at least half is made up of first team.
  20. Actually the St Mirren game is only game where it specifically says a Newcastle eleven will play as opposed to first team.
