3 year deal with Kilmarnock

Apologies if this is elsewhere but couldn't see it. There was an update 2 hours ago on St Mirren direct Facebook page saying new St Mirren shop Grand Opening 30th July. Was St Mirren Direct not run by Alan Provan??? Thought he had walked away as with all the trouble he had making a proper go of the shop. Don't see anything official anywhere regarding this.

Correct me if i am missing something here so the club have agreed 2 deals as stated above & members of board/management etc have passed this information on to either Top Cat or Buddiecat or someone else who in turn has talked to the 2 cats, so what is 2 stop these players/clubs/agents changing their mind as obviously deals are not signed yet??? So how can anyone say deals are happening this week??? I'm not trying to be a smart arse here but just confused why we start telling people about signings before they are confirmed.

Now that the managerial saga has finished, where would you like Saints pre-season games to be??? I'm discounting EPL teams as can't see us getting a game against any of them(i know Dundee are playing Man City). I would go for Preston, Bolton, Leeds away for ease of travel & good stadiums to visit. Blackpool, Southend, Bournemouth etc for the weekend away.

i know it's not as good as 6-2 game but that first half performance v Falkirk is still one of the best i can remember Saints playing. Edited to add after watching 6-2 game searched for 5-2 game from last day of previous season had no luck finding it came across Falkirk match by accident. If anyone has link to 5-2 game please post.

Fixtures are rubbish 2 biggest games midweek (which i can't get to) so faced with the prospect of my last 4 games of season all being at St Mirren park, which if i remember correctly all our previous flirts with relegation our home form has been terrible can't actually remember any home game we have won after the split. Certainly don't think we have won one that means anything so that doesn't bode too well with Hibs coming to town straight away.

If that happened would still need the 3 mentioned teams to get better results than Killie over last 5 games, seeing as we all play each other every week someone is going to drop points as can't see Killie and Hibs losing nearly every game and other 3 winning most of their games.

It's not how many points it's what happens with Thistle & Ross County now(Hibs & Killie are now safe) with only 6 games left impossible for Hibs or Killie to be overtaken by 4 or 3 teams as after split at least one team(From Saints, Thistle & County) will drop points each week. Every team next week is at home & we really need 3 points as Thistle play Hearts & County have a home derby. Interesting look at Scottish Championship table first 4 looks like it won't change so our opponents will be either Dundee, Hamilton, Falkirk or Queen of the South.

Had a chat with a fellow saints fan regarding possible team changes for the big games coming up & we couldn't agree what was the best way to go. Thought i would ask fellow saints fans what we all think. Remember it's only opinions about starting 11 not a slagging fest because someone disagrees with you alot of topics been spoiled by bickering recently. Presume the back 5 picks itself then we have - Teale, Magennis, Campbell 1 of 3 Right Midfield Newton, Goodwin, Mcginn,Djemba Djemba, Mclean 2 of 5 Centre Midfield Wylde First choice for left midfield Thommo,Mcgowan, Magennis, Campbell up front. My Midfield/Strikers 6 would be Teale, Goodwin, Mcginn & Wylde, with Thommo & Magennis up top. A bench of Djemba, Mclean, Newton, Mcgowan & Campbell would give you decent options to change.

A fellow saints posted on FB saying how did we pull this off? I was wondering did Djemba-Djemba & Steven Thompson play together at Burnley?

Only 3 days to go for the hospitality. Is there a specific dress code know most adults are usually shirt & tie but what about the kids are they normally smart jeans etc? Cheers.

A bit short notice for this, think getting Ryan Stevenson free from suspension for cup semi final is the real reason for the hastily arranged match. Don't know if we were/are allowed to refuse to play on this date but i would as about 3 or 4 years back Skysports changed our Scottish cup tie v Motherwell to a Thursday at last min & when we asked Hearts to change league match from Saturday they refused. Ended up beating them anyway but Romanov was quite outspoken about us for asking at the time. Tell SPL & Hearts Wednesday are our day off & coronation street is on so thanks but no thanks.

Come up buddie & we can discuss the teams mistakes face to face. After hospitality is finished if your still in Paisley after 6 will buy you a birthday drink or 2.

We are all booked up Div already made initial booking about same time as you my wee boy comes to all games with us but wasn't sure if he wanted to do hospitality as he it would probably mean missing his football match on that day. Made his mind up to come Friday so we can finalise numbers this week told Campbell originally it would be between 10 & 15 he said it was fine to confirm final numbers " a couple of weeks before".

A group of us are going to hospitality at end of month v Partick & was wondering does anyone know if under 18's are allowed in? Made the mistake of trying to ask the club today but apparently anyone who could have answered the question was too busy. Cheers for any help.

So what your saying is it's ok for you to criticise Darren Mcgregor but not ok for me to criticise you? That means it's not a discussion forum we are on but you being a dictator telling people what they can & can't do. Your "excuse" for spelling mistakes was your "wee phone screen" Darren can't use that excuse for his poor performance so maybe he put his boots on the wrong feet, maybe he had a migraine, maybe he was drunk from 36 hours before nobody knows there were 14 players out there today over course of the match & i don't seem to remember any of them being directly responsible for the goal we lost at the end. 99% of goals are not down to individual errors.

Mate notice you say Darren must be drunk from the bells to make so many mistakes today, well in your original post you had two blatant spelling mistakes that my wee boy would notice so are you still drunk from the bells? Everyone makes mistakes but the overreaction on here over last two results is shocking not surprising but still shocking 10 teams out of 12 in Spl are of similar standard you win some and lose some. Time everyone got off there high horse Saints are 9 years out of every 10 a bottom 6 team.

Our recent record is 4 wins from 5. Been saying for last couple of seasons if we could do that we could do a St Johnstone & maybe get to Europe. Started our good run with too few points to achieve this though. Can someone confirm these last 5 games is our best ever run of games in SPL? Think it definitely is.

Can someone lock this topic? It's not even a proper rumour one person saying offer him a deal doesn't make a rumour. At least st sid makes up something about my brother in laws cousins uncles old m8 knows someone who says such & such is signing for saints. Get it put into general nonsense asap.
