Simonsen looked like a very good and assured keeper when we played Dundee, but you would have to think his wage demands might be a bit of a stumbling block. If we could afford him then I think he would be a damn good signing.

I don't see Imrie getting another gig in thd SPL, he's likely to step down a level back to the 1st division. Cappielow is the likely destination.

The guy was on trial for a week and so far hasn't signed, and even if he does sign nobody knows if it will be as a back up to a more experienced keeper.Wring your knickers out and dont panic.

The knickerwetters will have a field day if we sign Leatheren. I'm not overly concerned as goal keepers are easy to come by, I would rather see more of the budget spent on better quality outfield players.

If Tidser has a year of his contract to run then Morton are in the driving seat as far as negotiations are concerned. There's no chance of us paying a fee imo so the stuff about 2 players offered in exchange sounds plausible. Imrie and Guy or Mair would be good experienced signings for Morton.

Aberdeen official twitter site has stated that the dons are about to open talks with Morton midfielder Michael Tidser.

Players having a go at the manager on Twitter is a bit shallow imo, they should man up and sort it behind closed doors.

Carey has the best left foot in the SPL by a country mile, he needs to play week in week out to get the best from him, unfortunately another SPL outfit will give him regular first team football.

I dont think anyone really bothers what John Brown says, he's a total balloon and he's doing his best to wind us up. You couldn't really blame the Hibs players if they have switched off a little, they have the Scottish cup final to concentrate on. The Thommohawk admitted that our guys found it near impossible to concentrate on league games with a major cup final looming.
