I take it I can pick my desired seats on SMFC tickets on the 22nd May then post the standing order form to the club for the finance option? Assuming there will be the finance option on SMFC tickets?
Disappointed that we have not been consulted on this matter. Especially after taking £50K from ring-fenced monies for the 3G pitch at Ralston.
No communication at all from SMISA that hundreds of season ticket holders and/or SMISA members would be moved in favour of Old Firm supporters.
Why were SMISA members not consulted on this at the very least?
How about trying to boost season tickets sales and looking at other sources of income through stand and stadium sponsorship?
SMISA agree to part-fund the 3G pitch at Ralston dipping in to ring-fenced monies and don’t get a say on our matchday experience!!
Apparently this will be returning to replace the U20 Development League next season. Don’t think it’s been confirmed yet though.
Hopefully 1930/1945 kickoff times and games played at St. Mirren Park. Thoroughly enjoyed Reserve football at Love Street- only time I ever sat in the Main stand.
Saints also won the Reserve league West in season 1995-96.
Would imagine we will be targeting players from whatever club is relegated from the Premiership. We need to be signing players with top flight experience.
It does seem beneficial if someone from the SMISA committee could state if the takeover from Gordon Scott will happen before year 10 or not?
I don’t see why a committee member can’t use this forum as a communication method with members. I Thought Kenny did a very admirable job communicating with members before his resignation.
Fairly sure I saw him at the Brechin game towards the end of the season. Does he post on here under another name or has he ‘retired’?
I miss his Old Grammarian bashing...
Oh, and where’s The Sandman....?
Happy memories of the JBs Supporters bus.
Still enjoy the programme and buy them most games. Part of my pre-match rituals; Off the Ball on the radio, wonder round the club shop, check my brick is Ok..., buy a programme then hit the pie stand.
They are a mid-table club at best in the Championship. Crowds of 1,500 on average and a debt of £2m.
I’m sure the Easdales will be their saviours....
Tick tock....
O’Ware is nowhere near good enough. Average championship player at best. If this is the standard of player we’re going to get, we’ll be a one-season wonder in the Premiership.
Ex- Morton captain too; No thanks!
Did the club explore funding options for the Ralston pitch before approaching SMISA or are we seen now as a ‘cash cow’? I voted against the proposal as I believe the ring-fenced money should remain as such- for share purchase.
The club’s current turnover is around 2.6m. I would be interested to know what plans the club have to increase this. The only potential capital investment plan I have heard of, which is under consideration, is filling in one of the corners. Increasing the club’s corporate and hospitality areas I would imagine would be included in this proposal.
