  1. Paisley old photo's thread for this pish
  2. Oh good, I thought you were being serious in your posts. Wooshed again.
  3. Not the child's human rights. Do read the ruling. Someone getting under your skin.
  4. I quoted what you wrote and pointed out the stupidity of it. Just like I should really just quote your stupid comment about annexing Poland. Really all that does is make you look like a moron. Just saying "I find," is not really a valid argument. I'm not wishing ill will on the English, I'm just saying that their current behavior is not too dissimilar to that which lead them and other nations into a series of disasters in the past.
  5. Why does it not surprise you in the least that I know what I'm talking about. I know I should not engage, but see below for the ruling. https://www.supremecourt.uk/cases/docs/uksc-2015-0216-press-summary.pdf
  6. That's not correct. They found the Data sharing aspect incompatable with the data protection act (right to privacy). Child protection would trump data protection, but in this case, there can be no presumption that there are child protection issue. So, the supreme court asked SG to revise the data sharing provision. SG with their lawyers looked at it and could not find away round the problem, so will not implement the act. As someone with an interest in this I'm disappointed that this has not gone through. It had the overwhelming support of everyone in the childcare field (admittedly teachers not as keen as they do not like to think of themselves as social workers.) and some "parents groups"
  7. Oh dear Poor Smokie I will miss him
  8. There are so many where do you start. I suppose it's just more deflection by the PM
  9. No freedom of movement. no guarentee to keep environmental and consumer standards, no comitment to retain workers rights. No comitment to frictionless EU trade. I can go on. But it would mean that tax dodging would not be clamped down on. So good news for Reece-Mog and Johnstone
  10. That's a bit like saying Nato is dominate by the USA or that the world cup is dominated by Brazil of that Scottish football is dominated by the ugly sisters. Things are what they are, in or out of the EU is not going change the simple fact that Germany is bigger and richer than we are. And if they are, then so what. The way to change it by getting richer and bigger. This imperialistic willy measuring is not going to end well. Especially for the English
  11. Do't mention Jimmy Saville Prince Andrew
  12. I think it is more likely that Farage realised that, after spouting about it, the Norway model isn't what he wanted. For priveliged access to the EU market, Norway has to implement lots of EU laws like freedom of movement, workers rights etc. That isn't what the likes of Farage (or BJ) want. In norway, all tax records are available to the public. We could stop the whole brexit thing in it's track just by enacting that one simple law😎
  13. Jack this, OK that. f**k off. Neither are our manager now and neither is going to be anytime soon. The only thing we need to worry about is how Goody is doing. So far I'd give him a seven. Came in late, Inherited f**k all from OK and built a team that at least looks well organised and difficult to beat. Needs a bit of polish upfront. I'd say we are comparable to Ross Jack's first season team around the start of the transfer window. We had stopped losing every game and resembling the keystone cops, and with a few tweaks and signings, began to find a goal threat. If we can start scoring goals, then I think we'll do alright.
  14. there's no doubt that we produce good midfielders and even decent defender in our youth program. But to date, you would struggle to come up with a decent striker that cme through the youth. Anton Brady, and Jack Smith were probably the two most promising in recent years but neither really lit the heather for various reasons. While we are not unique in having this problem, If you compare that with St Johnstone, United, Livingstone, Hibs, Kilmarnock and even Aberdeen where middling to excellent strikers have been produced. If we had a Stevie May, Cummings, Murray, Russel, or Shankland coming through the ranks, it would have benefited us hugely. I think in someways, this is about the culture of our youth team. I get that; take a touch, look around, keep possession, find a man. Is good advice for most positions, but not for strikers. Do we need specialist forward coaches for the youth? Having said that, there are one or two boys that I am mildly optimistic about in that role. No jinxing. ETA forgot about Jon McShane.
  15. Isn't that why they signed him in the first place?
