  1. and any other sanctions that arise from misdeeds by the oldco. alternative is to wait until they have the necessary finacial records and apply as a new member Brilliant
  2. Things were way better when we had farry, the game was run much more efficiently when he was in charge. He got suckered into a war with mcCann who needed a victory for his unwashed army. The campaign to get him removed was the greatest crime against Scottish Football as it left the OF in an untouchable position and the game has never recovered.
  3. What is influencing them? at a guess I'd say they are being tied to chairs with their eyelids clamped open in an auditorium as they are fed drugs and are forced to watch a flm loop of murder, rape, earthquake, pestillence, hunger poverty and sodomy as Jim Traynor's latest back-flipping editorial covering the doom that awaits anyone who doesnt give rangers everything they want is read out at a volume of 110 decibels by Ian McKellen
  4. Nobody advocating punishment of the CIC, the OP says it all, let them know you are back on board as long as this proposal is flushed out where it should be. Money talks, and the £1.5 million chegue that the CIC arethinking of giving tothe consortium is the best voice we have to speak out against this perverse proposal. And let's face it, it's more honest. there are very few of us who will support SMFC regardless of who owns it if this goes through. It's best to let them know how seriously todays events have undermined the bid for the club
  5. You are not so naive as to think that TTH are not a viable and potentially extremely effective pressure point that can get the consortium to distance themselves from the SPL proposal. Nobody is saying walk away for ever, but the fans should be king in this scenario and we need to know we are being valued.
  6. and anything else you have signed with 10000 hours, but let them know you will be happy to reinstate if both St Mirren and 10000 hrs publicly distance themselves from the proposals to help rangers, before the proposal fails for other reasons
  7. you are 100% right on donkeymaster, but unfortunately he has been working on this for a while, surely with the connivance of the 11, or maybe 12, chairmen. This gave them the chance for some posturing and apparent high-handednes, but all the time they knew they were getting a compromise that they could use to try and save face whilst whilst backing into rangers woody. Nasty people, every single one of them.
  8. As i posted in another thread, the announcement of voting intentions by other chairmen was only an invite to negotiate. All along they have looked for a way to be found to allow Rangers back in the SPL in jig-time with minimal loss of income. I dont think anyone anticipated that it would be such a shabby deal though. Even if Rangers do eventually fail to get a team together, this has tainted the name and reputation of all concerned forever. Dignity-RIP Integrity-RIP SMFC-RIP

  10. Now i see what you did there, you took a phrase that is similar to the one that I quoted (accurately) from div's post and wove it into a little rant of your own, how much of your precious time on this planet did you waste in the process? I find it objectionable to use collective phrases that characterise humans in that way, I'ver seen and heard similar over many years of being involved with all sorts of different people who had little regard for their fellow humans, it lowers the tone and in any case, YOU ARE TALKING BOLLOCKS. 10000 hours is not a crowd funded internet based funding vehicle. It is a community interest company (I think that is what it is this week) You dont know me, you dont know my thoughts or anything for ambitions for St Mirren. Just so you are aware, i am 100% in favour of a supporter-owned club. I dont even have any objections to the concept of 10000 hours bid, i do have some reservations and remain to be convinced 100%, but that would be my viewpoint on almost any bid for St Mirren. If i seriously wanted to undermine 10000 hours, then the best way would be to use your recent posts (bullying rants would be a more accurate description) as a way of demonstrating the kind of fanny you dont want ANYWHERE near a football club. I am the kind of person you should be trying to persuade, not alienate. Having such an ill-judged, beligerent and poorly-informed go at me demonstrates that you have no ambition to do what is in the best interests of the club. PS, I "liked" your post simply because it gave me so much amusement and something to do during a 5 minute break.
  11. Would you really trust what Hearts say? they are obviously positioning to be "persuaded" by a counter argument. Best to wait and see.
  12. If the inner sanctum of 10000 hours are bandying around phrases like "crowd sourced funding" then it's most likely a good thing they dont have legs left to get their bid over the line. When people resort to using hackneyed buzz-phrases when describing other humans then it usually means at least one of two things 1. they have little imagination and are trying to look smart by inventing their own little language 2. they have no regard for the people they are talking about. Just so you all know, the supporters of St Mirren, the club you all believe you are fit to control, are not a "crowd". They are a body of passionate people who care about the institution of the club
  13. The hearts supporting lorry driver pays 124/month for Sky? That's one hell of a porn bill, there's no way that illness is cancelling his "package" Sky know their customers like the back of their (hairy palmed) hand, they made their minds up months ago how they would react to every conceivable outcome
  14. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18407309 HMRC reject the CVA offer
  15. this will explain why there is no word yet on the investigation ino doublke contracts, they are hoping at theSFA and SPL that a newco will be frmed that they can duly distance from the double payments and other irregularities. Otherwise, it seems very likely that they need to expel RFC from both the SPL and SFA
  16. could the answer be that SMISA has now matured and and has developed it's own identity and it could possibly be vehicle for fan ownership? If SMISA can generate a wad of 50k with so few members then is it possible for the 10000 hours DD subscribers to sign up for a similar amount to SMISA, who then strike a deal to buy over the consortium (and anybody else's, if they want to) shareholding in installments? Just a thought, but the gradual acquisition of shares seems a better method as any failure to keep delivering for the club would see a pause in contributions coming in. Somner raises, and exagerates, some good points about some of the community groups. i'd like to see them come in, influnence, contribute to and share in the development of the club, but not be able to control it or use it as a cash generator for their own ends. Perhaps the uncertainty can be overcome by a model that provides some protection against some of his fears.
  17. If the SPL chairmen had backbone they would challenge Goram and thesun in court for this. Printing this "article" undermines confidence in 10 businesses that are currently trading viably (though admittedly not without problems)
  18. Doncaster has laid the groundwork for resumption of normal bigoted service, with no concessions to the other clubs. Even when they announced the penalties on rangers, he hinted that they could be swept away on appeal. The deal has already been done, all that is happening now is to allow some face-saving posturing before scottish footbal shamefully capitulates to rangers
  19. A relative of mine read this thread and declared that we are all saints fans and should be united, however there are obviously some obviously right smug bastards going around
  20. Youre clearly doing your best and are a credit to the private sector What are tax credits?
  21. Another nob that thinks I am either ken or one of his agents.
