  1. Having now seen the penalty decisions a few times I definitely think we should be taking this further. I understand the club try to avoid tit for tat such as this but it has gone a step too far on this occasion. Supporters paying good money to go to games at Ibrox and Parkhead when we don’t stand a chance of winning - our game is corrupt to the core and always has been, the other 40 SPFL clubs really need to say enough is enough.
  2. Onwards to Motherwell at the SDA then... With games away to Aberdeen and Hearts forthcoming followed by Livi at home we are faced with two absolute must-wins; no ifs, no buts, no excuses. We usually do alright against Motherwell in relegation dogfight matches...
  3. I mean, the bit about Hamilton, Dundee and Motherwell is debatable but the highlighted bit... Is everything alright at home?
  4. Stubbs claims to have very good recruitment skills - apparently signing McGinn, McGeouch, Allan and McGregor counts as him being some kind of scouting genius even though all were established but we shalln’t even get into that. GLS and TF said there’s no reason we can’t finish 4th/6th because there is no reason why not... St Johnstone do it often and Kilmarnock are essentially title challengers this year. I doubt they have Top 6 budgets... they do however have top quality managers and therein lies the caveat - Allan Stubbs isn’t that. He can bleat about bottom 3 budgets all he wants - the reality is the BOD can’t magic a massive budget out of thin air for managers, if he was as good a manager as he bleats on about things would’ve been fine.
  5. And again! Never mind the ignore button, where’s the restraining order button ETA - Nearly forgot your signature of idiocy
  6. Oh my word, everywhere I look on this forum you have my name in your mouth. It is getting a little weird now, Captain.
  7. That’s a bit uncalled for, i’m a greetin faced bassa but i’m certainly in good company on here for the crown of the most greetinist faced bassa
  8. Correct. Some are mistaking negativity for realism. Some are making out these signings can’t possibly go wrong because the recruitment team have watched them. Lording the signing of any old striker over the people questioning our dealings this window like some kind of victory is laughable and makes them seem more like loons than those who are concerned about our strategy. I hope it turns out to be a stroke of genius, but i’ll reserve my praise until May without being called a knickerwetter thanks.
  9. Well deserved. Gets a lot of unwarranted stick. 150 apps at 22 for a centre half is phenomenal and he will only get better.
  10. I’m as I was yesterday. Calm, hopeful, excited but cautious. I hope our gamble pays off. The signing policy can be judged in May when we know if we’ve achieved our goal. If we’ve achieved our goal then as I said i’ll be first on here to eat humble pie. OK and Gus will have well earned the trust of the whole fanbase by that point (well, most). I was reading the BBC Sport article where OK said Nazon was the striker we had “been crying out for” couldn’t help but get very painful flashbacks to Bahoken... Hi Captain
  11. TBF, you had some good points about how we come across in the media. Perhaps we should add a Media Advisor to the much derided list of staff at the club... Calm down, we don’t know if the guy is any good yet. When he bags 8 goals and keeps us up i’ll happily place a bulk order of the humblest pie.
  12. Thanks for your concerns, means a lot. Who said the internet was a bad place? I’ll stop obsessing about you if you stop obsessing about me, Captain. Oh, and
  13. You again? (Am I doing this bit right?) This obsession is getting odd.
  14. Gus has certainly made poor signings in his career. My point was Accies get Tony Andreu - proven player at this level. We appear to be scrapping around a bit. Fair point. So were Matty Willock and Alfie Jones. Austin McPhee spotted Goncalves. He is a very talented coach and clearly knows a player when he sees one. Hopefully it works out as they did though! Imagine you getting in a state about me ‘getting in a state’ about football. Oh dear. You can voice concerns without it consuming your life.
  15. We shall indeed see. Unless we see the arrival of prime-Didier Drogba by 11pm I suspect we are in trouble
  16. Are the wait and see mob willing to admit we’ve made a complete cock up of the window yet? “We’re down the food chain” ”Wait ‘till late in the window” ”Hard to do business in Jan” Can’t wait to see what unknown teenage cast off from the Premier League we get handed, almost as if we learned nothing from Stubbs... Dundee and Hamilton have brought in players with experience at this level. We’ve brought in Tansey, an ex-Academy player and some foreign boys none of us had seen play. In May we will suffer drastically for an absolute shambles of a season from start to finish, instigated by every board member and members of both management teams making continuous mistakes. Out. Of. Our. Depth.
  17. My oh my, you don’t half blabber nonsense to suit your agenda. Jack left the club - this happens regularly in football - the club knew he was likely to go, hardly a surprise. The transfer window runs intil August 31st - Stubbs had ample time to recruit. He made a mess of it. Nice twisting to suit your agenda though. Outside of the big leagues clubs do not sign players when they’re on the beach you muppet! Some players’ contracts expire at the start of June, some July - depends on the league. Then again you know f**k all about football so this isn’t surprising you’re unaware of this. Yes, very well aware! Both Kellerman and McGinn were on PCA’s. ETA - Your posts need more ‘’ - makes you sound like you know what you’re doing you know!
  18. They signed more than 2 players. If we attempted what Livi done the fans would’ve been up in arms about keeping lower league players. The manager hardly walked out - the club allowed him to talk to a massive club. Nor was it after a significant portion of the close season was gone. The season had been finished a few of weeks - most players were away on holiday and the majority’s contracts ran out in July or at the earliest June 1st. When exactly were we to keep Stubbs till? The truth will come out about the decision to bag him eventually. That aside though, his recruitment was a good enough reason. Don’t let facts get in the way of being tedious though.
  19. Canning was on STV midweek complaining about the grief he gets relevant to how well he does with their budget...
  20. He’s a WUM. Does it to get his kicks. Posts nonsense and personal agendas for dramatic effect. Done the same throughout the Danny Lennon days.
  21. Don’t cry about it i’m just a stranger on the internet. You are correct in that it is not working. There is far more to this than 1 player in midfield supposedly selling the jerseys though. Would you say the wingers were particularly effective or tracked back today? Did Tansey or Lyons look like game changers or midfield enforcers? Jackson firing on all cylinders? Full backs not being caught out of position? Defence clearing their lines? We have a plethora of issues and have done since August - almost all have remained.
