RickMcD
I assume the team Ulster were playing wear Black and White stripes ? Naw, played in a kind of Man City blue tonight. Amazingly enough Zebre does mean zebra in Italian. If a zebra stands on its hind legs, it's actually black and white hoops.
salmonbuddie
Zebre is plural so it means zebras in our language, not zebra. Amazingly enough. Edited September 12, 2014 by salmonbuddie

RickMcD
Zebre is plural so it means zebras in our language, not zebra. Amazingly enough. Right enough there were quite a few Eyeties playing last night. About 15 at a guess. That's probably why we got a fright but we persevered. valleybud
Newport Gwent Dragons 13 Glasgow Warriors 33 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/29244341 I support the Dragons when they play Glasgow , does that make me a traitor? However if the County were playing the Buddies there is no doubting where my loyalties would lie.
salmonbuddie
Yup, it does. If any of your kids supported the Dragons, fine, their local team. You're just a traitor. Happy now?

strummer
Just back..39-21 to the warriors. .another excellent game..nearly 6000 of a crowd and a bonus point puts them about top of league. .
flyingscot
Connaught were sloppy. They could have done quite well, but they made too many mistakes. Their stand off did a lot well, but contributed to them losing about 3 tries with errors! I don't think Glasgow played well, and the lack of a TMO helped tonight- the officials had to give the benefit of the doubt- Hogg's second would have been ruled out with a TMO there. strummer
Connaght were forced I thought into errors. .glasgow , who played well pressed virtually the whole game creating their own luck..I was right in front of the hogg incident and agree ,but play to the whistle .the ref was behind the players and never seen the knock on...but glasgow I think carried the game forward causing connacht to be on the back foot and as I said make their own luck.. shull
I'll need to go and spectate. The wee yin fancies it. She wants to go the Ice Hockey also to see the Clans. She thinks I'm made of money. Edited September 27, 2014 by shull
salmonbuddie
The scrum creaked badly, especially after Kellock went off. I think we were lucky no-one was carded tbh. And it's not the first time this season either. Worrying. The competition will have marked that, they need to put some serious work in on the training pitch to survive the rest of the season.
