Was praising the set up of the st mirren community trust and linking it to the st mirren community website

Lets be clear the trust has NOTHING to do with anything on this website, all these activities are paid for and supported by other groups , who are doing a great job and to link the trust to it is out of order.

This trust has no cash and is puting out the begging bowl to public bodies to promote employment.

Is this really a job for the CEO of st mirren football club, has he not got more pressing work on football matters?

Took me a while to work it out, but I believe he is referring to this article: http://www.saintmirren.net/pages/?p=29316
where Brian Caldwell is talking about the trust. Then the web admin linked the community website to look for more information on the trust, which isnt there, no about section or whatever concerning a trust - so it appears that the website is for the trust. I believe waldorf is stating that Stmirren in the community and Stmirren Community Trust are two different entities and it doesn't appear this way from the article/website.

What is the trust if not the stmirren in the community thing?

According to the article in the PDE its about employment, but linking it to the st mirren in the community is a stab in the back for all those working at the various activities and their sponsors

Eh?

Stab in the dark?

Are you on drugs?

Calm down and explain exactly what your problem is then people might have the faintest idea what you are on about.

Read this!

"Engage chief executive and chair of the new trust, Alan McNiven, said: “St Mirren have always been good at putting a lot back into the local community.

“Football has strong community roots and clubs can be great organisations for supporting local people.

“The St Mirren FC Community Trust hopes to use the draw of football to engage local people in a wide range of activities.”

The other members of the trust’s board are Claire Dorris, head of finance, Engage Renfrewshire, and Alan Wardrop, chairman of St Mirren Fans Council."
