As good as he is, Stephen Robinson has a blind spot when it comes to Ayunga. Genuinely cannot understand this announcement. Am I alone in this ?

I think it's more to do with Mandron & Olisanya not resigning at the moment. Though Ayunga has played well in the last month I'm still unconvinced

Ayunga is only now starting to show what he had a couple of seasons ago before his injury. I was talking with some cellicfootballclub fans who were waxing lyrical about how he played against them then and how he played on Saturday. Albeit the latter was probably on the strength of what little highlights they saw.

Ah, patronising Celtic fans, how kind of them. Must be just me but Ayunga in my opinion is slow, has poor ball control, rarely wins a header, is easily knocked off the ball and this season has scored 3 goals, one of which was an own goal. Sorry, but well  out of his depth at this level.

As I said. He was getting plaudits, and not JUST for the Celtic game, before his injury but, when he came back, he looked afraid to turn and run and didn't seem to want to get involved. In the last few games he has shown glimpses of his old self. If he had scored a dozen goals he wouldn't be with us now. Look at what's happening with Olusanya without double figures in the league.

Nope

I agree with you 100%

Other players seem to love Jonah  but I don't think he offers nearly enough in goal return or general play

I said at the time his contract extension was not for me
