  2. £6 million in debt up to May after a loss of £2.9 Mil last year and expect same next year which would put them almost £10 mil in debt alot for a club with a probably turnover between 4 and 5 Mil £ Source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68768050
  3. IF they have broken any rules then they deserve anything that comes their way. There's a fine line between spending to continually improve and being "thrifty" and going down the league. A good manager is the key difference in these issues and next weekend's game, IMO, will throw two decent managers together in a game that could easily decide who gets European football.
  4. The frequency of these incident don't seem to be reducing. Another lunatic with a "sword" killed an innocent 14 year old boy, just take a second and think about someone in your family around that age, and also another 4 others were injured, including two brave police officers who faced up to this walloper. The ease of purchasing these weapons, I fear, is unstoppable and the attacks/killings will only continue. Again, no doubt this latest fcukwit will have "mental health issues".
  5. I'm of the opinion that the recent events are a sign that the SNP, and the wasteful fantasy of "freedom" are fast disappearing. Who will transpire to be the leading party remains to be seen.
  6. BTTS score next week a cert, just saying.
  7. Final score, Bayern 2-2 Madrid. Good game, next week's return game is on a knife edge. No real advantage for Madrid, IMO, both teams are evenly matched. Roll on next Wednesday.
  8. Result Aberdeen 3 Montrose 3
  9. Bayern 2-2 Madrid, another, stonewaller, penalty. 84 mins.
  10. Bayern 2-1 Madrid, penalty and the brilliant Harry Kane slots it away. 57 mins.
  11. Bayern 1-1 Madrid, what a hit from Sane, 54 mins.
  12. Yes indeed, him and his wife played the racist card with the Dundee nursery owner and made a right fool of themselves. Who ever advised him to sack the greens was not doing him any favours. Who ever it was has played a blinder as the two elements that were going to be a vote loser in the elections are now gone, Humza and the greens.
  13. Bayern 0-1 Madrid, against the run of play doesn't quite cover it but that's fitba. 25 mins.
  14. John Higgins rolls back the years with an outstanding clearance in the last frame from 62-0 down. What a player. I watched the break, what a first red, cross double, and the final red wasn't easy either.
  15. Bayern 0-0 Real Madrid, the Germans have started very brightly, Madrid haven't shown a thing as yet. Strange watching a Champions League semi final with no English teams involved. 14 mins.
  16. If they were still here, a few of us might be Abercorn fans . I know, in the day, my grandfather supported both Paisley clubs .
  17. A wonderful memory from the era of Fergie's Furies. 10000 at Love Street this day below
  18. Oh how I would love this attitude from Westminster. No matter HOW we get there, I would be delighted to achieve independence thus ending the reason for the SNP. A vote for self determination is after all a vote to disband the party whose main reason, in fact core reason, for existence is to free us from the shackles of an uneven, unfair "partnership".
  19. Are you serious. Dundee would never throw money away on silly wages!
  20. Gillingham have dismissed manager Stephen Clemence | Gazette (gazette-news.co.uk)
  21. They are having a brilliant season thanks to throwing Finances out the window if the paper stories are correct. Dangerous game and will Uefa FFP rules bite them even if they get 5th (which hopefully we seal against them)
  22. Biggest game of the season, I'd be there but got a prior engagement. The atmosphere will be electric. They have had a brilliant season and the manager deserves a lot of credit. He's on the local radio up here on a regular basis and comes across pretty well.
