Monday 9:00pm, STV leaders debate. I'll probably miss it but it'll be riveting, all trying to out lie each other, quite a battle. Labour slight favourites to be the top party in Scotland. Labour is on course to win the most Scottish seats in the upcoming general election after a new poll put it six points ahead of the SNP. The poll, conducted by Survation, found 36 per cent of Scottish voters intend to back Labour compared to 32 per cent who say they will back the SNP. It is the latest in a series of polls putting Keir Starmer’s party ahead, with a Savanta poll giving the party a four-point lead and YouGov a 10-point lead earlier this month. Oh, Independence doesn't look likely either. Support for independence, meanwhile, replicated that of the 2014 referendum, with 45% of decided voters backing indy and 55% in favour of staying in the UK. This represents a 3% drop since the last Survation poll last year. A survey by Survation for True North spoke to 1026 people aged 16 and over between May 23 and Monday. Labour was the choice of 36% of respondents, while 32% backed the SNP.

Getting excited, two weeks tonight and it's "Yes Sir I Can Boogie" time. 7 or 8 of us will get together, something tartan or a Scottish strip mandatory, and we'll be shouting our support from the first whistle. Great being back in with the big boys.

-
Incorrect. As usual, you spout this nonsense and can never back it.
-
A lot to unpack.

I was about to post that , box to box , powerful midfielder, who can also fill in at right back and CH , ticks all the SR boxes !

I haven’t once moved the goalposts. You’ve got little else to argue with I suppose so, good effort.
-
I worry about you. You actually believe the guff you post, you, time after time, show a lack of understanding and time after time move the goal posts. Never mind, tick tock.

"you've conveniently forgot, which is surprising as you loved every tragic minute, the fairly recent Covid thingy?" "Tories getting (rightly) slaughtered for sheer incompetence & being out of ideas on policy. You started banging on about Covid" Caught you out yet again by quoting what was actually posted, oh no... Oh I doubt I'll need them, there isn't likely to be enough utterly gullible people like yourself to back the Tories into yet more failure. Beep, beep, beep, reversing
-
No, i know you can't understand anything beyond your tedious rants but it shows that things aint as bad as you make out.
-
Your not very good at reading as I never said you refused to answer a fact, I asked you again, WHERE DID I BLAME COVID FOR ALL THE COUNTRIES PROBLEMS. Get the Kleenex out for July 5th, you'll be needing them, and not for your usual pastime.
-
So good news stories about Scotland - gold star Tories Bad news stories about Scotland - F for the SNP 😂😂
-
What utter nonsense, what ‘facts’ have you placed that I’ve refused to answer?
-
None in my lifetime have done a particularly good job, but the last 14 years of the Tories has been the worst. I'm genuinely surprised anyone would try and argue against that point given the evidence of decline. I feel it’s just a reality that devolved governments are fighting those battles with one arm tied behind their backs though. (Scotland & Wales)

Welcome Jonathan Obika
faraway saint replied to thomsons dropped it's topic in General St. Mirren Discussion
Just read that Obika has decided to retire from professional football. 20 goals in 77 appearances, more than decent in a team that were mostly struggling. And THAT goal against Hearts probably saved us from relegation in the Covid season, OBIKA Our best wishes to our former striker Jon Obika who has today announced his retirement from playing. Jon scored 20 goals in 77 appearances at Saints including a vital win over Hearts in the curtailed 2019/20 season. All the best from everyone at St Mirren, Jon!
