  1. Your probably right as your perspective of things when your younger are rubbish. I liked going to paisley depot though
  2. It seemed a bit wee compared to the likes of Larkfield, parkhead, Johnstone or Cumbernauld. I wasnt a great fan of the leopards, But did like Clydesides Dominators- Kelvin's examples where a bit crap- Although the had 1 with a Rolls-Royce engine and badge on the engine bay door and Routemasters didnt seem the most comfortable to drive- let alone be passenger in. But got to admit, do miss the variety of buses you used to get
  3. If he was its good that the guy hasnt forgotten the place and maybe he will visit St Mirren park soon, maybe have him out at half time to say something to the fans if the club want to make it an occassion. The big guy did well for us and sure a lot of fans would like to see him again.
  4. Bought Lingenberry cordial out the shop too- Comes in a glass bottle, and tastes great too- and swedish beer is quite good too!
  5. The food prices in there are great- And love the meatballs with Gravy and Lingenberry Jam- When heard about meatballs with Gravy and Jam, thought It would be foul, but its really nice
  6. Where does Faraway come from again? lol
  7. Looks like its one of those temporary signs for traffic (Road closed etc) and the one they had a Nelson Mendela place to tell folks about a bus gate, has recently gone!
  8. Faraway and Maximillion are good for that too
  9. indeed it does, along with you taking issue to most folks comments and opinions. Faraway is not far enough
  10. It is a rip off- But its our first game. Still undecided as to whether to go. If I do, does anyone know any 'away fan friendly' pubs in Motherwell?
  11. Actually quite like that- and your eyes dont get the 'Strobing' effect that happens when you look at our home monstrosity
  12. Ebola is a f**king scary disease and the cultural stuff in Africa means its spreads like wildfire. They eat bats, which tend to be natural hosts, they hug the dead who have died of it, the hospitals and clinics cant deal with it and the governments try to contain it when carriers (folk infected) have buggered off. Hate to say it but governments have suggested napalming villages with infected residents, as in these places, transmission rates are almost 100% and again, hate to see it but they probably should to contain it as much as possible. The other threat is that Ebola mutates a lot and everyone hopes it doesnt become airborne. If it does, God help everyone
  13. Anyone see the table tennis on thursday afternoon, think it was England and other nation I cant remember. the wee aussie umpire/refereehad a cracking name(no pun intended)- FANNY HO! so childish at times
  14. Lycra is okay- Holds stuff where its supossed to be- Its the folk in the shiny, wipe clean gear you need to watch out for!
  15. Went there about 1989 with my pal who was a 'Bus Enthusiast' and seemed like quite a wee depot. Had a few Routemasters at the back and remember we got shown a Quicksilver Dennis Dominator with coach seats in it and some noisy Leyland Leopards. Didnt really appreciate it back then but Paisley and Glasgow had lots of colour just with the buses- they all look the same now. Even the 'Bus Entusiasts' are getting bored
  16. Wonder how long 'Black and White Sportswear' will last in running the club shop? No offence to them and wish them the best of luck, but seems that the Head Honcho's at the club seem to only have concern for pleasing JD Sports, as has been shown by getting shot of Provan Sports on 2 occassions.
  17. A mate who works in the town centre, although not a saints fan, mentioned someone remarkably like Yardley was having a stoat about in the sun? Anybody hear of this or did my mate just see a baldy bloke who is a bit fond of the doughnuts? Liked the boy when he was with us
  18. Most Rangers fans hated him- purely because he didnt visibly gob on any bead-rattlers during his time at Ibrox
  19. No chance getting Him back. He did pretty well when with us. If we could, Id love to see big isma back. He wasnt with us for that long but he did well. Just wishful thinking though.
  20. If we had somelike like Pozbaird involved in some manner or another, there would be a much better response to the kits. Could he get rid of that 'King of Neds(trainers)' shield- Its awful
  21. This lad is a fountain of misplaced rage. Deep breaths now
  22. Not unless it badly affects the sight of all of us!
  23. Seems we dont quite have a totally monopoly of having shite looking tops then!
  24. Warts grow on you too, doesnt mean you want them!
