Quite heavy on the fuel, it could do with a 6th gear, rev counter sits quite high and I was only sitting about 60 from Perth to Arbroath.

Motorhome successfully driven home, only hit 2 or 3 cars, not bad for my first drive.
Mrs Faraway already been out measuring, I fear this'll cost me more and more. 
Not had the dogs in it yet, grounds all wet and slushy with the wee upturn in temperature. 

He's not got round to dishing out likes, watch this space. 
Anyhow, slight rise in the temperature has started to thaw the ice and snow.
Keep it up, we've had lot's more snow than Dundee and Perth going by what we saw on today's journey. 

Was really icy this morning, glad of my previous ice hockey experience to not go down. My waving of my arms in the air must have looked comical. So glad I was out of shot of my ring doorbell. [emoji16]

A wee bit cloudier this morning but still getting a wee bit brighter every day.
No sign of a thaw, still solid ice/snow outside on our street and no gritter has bothered to make a wee trip into our road.
 

Bitter cauld today, slight breeze cut you in two.
It's supposed to be a balmy 4 deg tomorrow, yippee do dah.

Felt it colder this morning outside but forgot to look at the temperature in the car.

Definitely feeling the difference between a petrol and diesel for the heat coming through the blowers.

No sign of any more snow although still plenty covering the ground in our street.
With the temperatures still minus it'll take a while to clear.
Man flu still hanging about, mainly a cough and a slight sore head, been almost a week and it's hit quite a few of my work colleagues who've taken the opportunity to snuggle up in a nice warm bed. 
Last working day, that's some good news.

The big day is getting closer, got a few nerves about driving this thing and parking it but I'm sure it'll go ok.
To be down at Perth about 11:00am on Friday.
No more snow forecast and the main roads should be all ok for then. 

-4 on the way home but, thankfully, I had no old wimmin driving in front of me so I could safely drive along about 45 mph unlike last night when 30 mph seemed to be the adopted speed. 
No more snow forecast and a rise in temperatures on Friday is good news as that's the day we pick up the motorhome.

We're currently sitting at -3 and that's as warm as it's getting today.
Like @StanleySaint, looks nice as the sun's been out all morning but having little effect on the temperature. 
Better take it easy going home, quite a steep hill going down to the main road. 🙏

I haven't cleared the snow off the Starlink so far @Albanian Buddy although the sun and salt air take care of it fairly quickly and there's been no drop off in speed/performance etc......the installer put in extra insulation tubing around the cables and he has boxed in the external connections. The installer is contracted to do a system check (including cables/connections) annually but as it's Tiree (and he's a pal) it's every six months......this'll be our first full winter with the system but all good so far👍

@WeeBud do you have to clear the snow off the Starlink device? What sort of maintenance do you have to do with the device? Very interested.
It’s currently 25C in the shade where I am right now. Gotta love the winter sunshine in the Canary Islands.

A wee look out my window this morning on Tiree, snowing quite hard just now which is all pretty unusual out here!!

Managed to get to work but it took a while.
Car dashboard said -6, not as bad as @Peeblesaint, but bad enough.
I'll probably leave a wee bit earlier today, better to drive/get home in daylight.  

Had our first real snow of the winter yesterday, it made the drive home a bit tricky and, as it's currently -5 deg I might not make it into work as we're based up a steep single track road.
My workmate has just messaged me he got stuck. 

I'd not advise using boiling water. 🤣
