  1. CHAMPIONNNNNEEEEEEESSSS! Absolutely brilliant, well done to the team! Jack Ross, James Fowler, thank you. I was expecting this year to be a title fight for League One, but you two have turned this team around. Thank you!
  2. Desperately hope we finish this today...I'll start panicking if we don't avoid defeat
  3. Taken the two St Mirren recommended horses from earlier in here. Gone for 5 horses £1EW.
  4. I'm sure that's the odds you'd have got on us being a top flight side for 2018/19 when we were heading towards relegation to League One last season Ross done it once...now for the Double Ross...
  5. F*ck that, they chose to be bigots, leave them out in the pissing rain.
  6. Do they actually know why Buffon was sent off? Found it odd on FlashScores that he was S/O when Benatia committed the foul. Had a look on The Guardian live blog and they weren't sure themselves.
  7. Mullen's Livingston tally is irrelevant. You are comparing Mullen's last 5 games to Reilly's entire season. I could be picky and point out we've scored an average of 0.5 goals in the last two games... The point I am making is that Reilly was banging goals in all season for us and at a time where the performance has dipped a little and some players are feeling the pressure, we shouldn't be omitting a player who has 22 goals this season. Mullen just happens to be the player who is in his position and would therefore be replaced.
  8. I was meaning Mullen's goals for Saints, he's only had 2 so far. That last comparison isn't very equal.
  9. Not the point of the video, but it was interesting seeing Danny Lennon in the away end at Saints and thinking...a decade later you'll be on the way to making yourself a club legend for us... RIP Lambie.
  10. KV Mechelen, who have been relegated this season by a goal difference margin of 1. Their 2-0 lead (and eventual win) over Waasland-Beveren looked to be enough, but Eupen had other ideas and scored 4 goals with only 17 minutes left to defeat Mouscron 4-0 and send Mechelen down. Super sub Yuta Toyokawa netted a hat trick for Eupen that day.
  11. Again I'd say McShane deserves a chance back in the team, he's scored goals (not just penalties) for us and played in most of the games up until January as we were building the points up. So a straight swap for McGinn would be the normal route. As you say though, after the last performance against Livi, we need to take this one differently and fix up the weaknesses that cost us that day.
  12. I'd like to see Reilly back in for this one. The guy has scored 20+ goals this season but has been replaced by Mullen who only has 2 goals so far. Reilly's goals were key for so long and they aren't being replaced.
  13. This is why I don't support 4th place making playoffs in a 10 team league. You could have just scraped a top half finish and have the same chance of promotion as the second placed side who are 30pts above you but missed the title on goal difference. They should either revert back to the two up-two down system, or have 2nd v 9th (from above) in a playoff. SPL would be 2nd v 11th. Anyone got a clip of Kyle's goal? Can't find anything on Youtube.
  14. Cammy's goal v Pars was a fantastic team effort. Kind of wish they put "Team" here instead of Cammy! Ended up voting for Eckersley's goal. I find it strange they decide this when we still have 5 games left...plenty of time for more contenders!
  15. Many people down here have a bad image of Scottish Nationalism and the SNP because of the terrible coverage they get. A number of them think it's an anti-English campaign and don't understand what the SNP is actually about. Naturally the Conservatives are very helpful in this bad imagery. I remember billboards down here showing Alex Salmond picking the pocket of Ed Miliband in their "Labour-SNP coalition would be awful" campaign.
  16. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/apr/09/douma-syria-regime-bashar-al-assad-murder-civilians#comments This disgraceful piece in The Guardian is promoting the fact the UK should take military action because of "Assad's chemical attack", while of course not giving us any evidence the Syrian government actually carried this attack. If you go to the comments section, change Comments:Newest to Recommendations , it's clear that many people in the UK (and elsewhere) have given up on their media, many of us after the WMDs in Iraq nonsense we were fed. Thankfully this lack of belief in the media is one positive in otherwise worrying times. I'm delighted to see the author has been torn apart for this horror of a "news piece". I of course put in my thoughts too
  17. My mate has got a spare ticket, I bought two on the day they went on sale but as it happens he's going to sit next to me now. He bought his before I asked him about it. Any interest PM me.
  18. Great day for Lincoln City, congratulations to them.
  19. My flights are booked, looking forward to a great weekend!
  20. I was not yet born during this success but the guy is clearly deserving of our thanks, a banner for him would be fantastic. Let's give him the send off he deserves, he gave many Buddies memories they will never forget.
