  1. A few pints of beer now cost over £10. Twenty cigarettes £10. Or £12 to watch the Saints?
  2. I’d like to see a way that those who can’t afford to come to games could be helped to attend, whether Northbank or otherwise.
  3. Looks like a decent away support will be at the game. All the better for atmosphere.
  4. We attended the away match against Stenhousemuir. They sold tickets online and entry was by showing the access code sent to our phones. Simple and very effective.
  5. None of our group of six work or live within an hour of Paisley. We have season tickets but most of us go to away games but need tickets to be posted out.
  6. Even more interesting after their win against Celtic
  7. A good game to look forward to in the stadium although the early kick off, being on TV and the stuttering start by Aberdeen will limit the attendance. A win would do nicely!
  8. Livingston away on their unpredictable plastic pitch. Despite their results so far this season this is not likely to be an easy game. More like a war of attrition. But…I enjoy going to the games there.
  9. Brophy’s best game and our best performance so far this season.
  10. None of our group are going. Usually tie in a lunch at a busy Italian on Leith Walk
  11. You may be right but there is a decent player in there.
  12. DB had a long history of representing people in workplace accidents before taking to TV advertising. Knew one of their partners well and the guy who advised them on their web and TV strategy. No mugs and definitely not ambulance chasers in any sent.
  13. Anything to say in sponsors anyone?
  14. For a moment I thought it was Asprey the royal jewlelers
  15. Nil against is ok of course but whilst you don’t lose you miss out on the three points. Dundee United have, I believe, won two and sit in six points whilst losing three times. We sit on three having been beaten twice
  16. Pretty typical I would guess. Matt is taller than I thought. About 6ft 1
  17. An early kick off on a Sunday isn’t kind to supporters travelling down from Aberdeen. My guess, given their current form, the early start and the match being on tv that no more than 750 Dons Fans will be there. Our hard core support is between 3,800 and 4,200. My guess is 4,750 crowd. On a Saturday at 3pm I would guess 1250 dons and 4,000 home fans. Total 5,250. A loss of 500 . Average price of say £20 a head means a gate sacrifice of around £10,000. If TV pays more then short term financially it makes sense.
  18. Sensible young guy. Very decent debut.
