  1. Off topic slightly. Is this season worse than the season under Hay.
  2. Fair enough. Once again 2+2=5. Jumping to conclusions
  3. I think it is quite telling that lennons comments are not on the official website. The silence is deafening.
  4. We're in this mess because of the board. They saved the club before and thank you for that. However if we always buy cheap _you buy twice. I suspect Lennon was cheap but might have got better. He hasn't and it's time he moved on. Thanks but see you later.
  5. whilst it is easy to point the finger at Lennon (and he is culpable - that cannot be denied) he ahs monumentally f**ked up at least 2 transfer windows - Last summer was a monumental f**k-up - Where is Gilmour - is he dead/ Struck dumb. This is a point in time where we need leadership - and non is forthcoming. The club is being seriously mismanaged at every level. Lennon is not doing his job (unless his job is to have us relegated, in which case he is on a serious bonus payment). Gilmour - please tell us what is happening, are you trying to throw away 15 years of hard work. Do we seriously went to be in the ginger bottle league, regular trips to Falkirk, Cowdenbeath, Alloa etc? Get this sorted
  6. 5 years. Feegiefirld is clean and modern. Also pokey. Not a big fan. It saved the club so hey ho.
  7. Let's strap ourselves in for a bumpy ride. On the plus side we were relegated I landed a better job.
  8. Currently our club is rudderless. We have a manager that is at best “below average”. His win record is shocking. His dealings in the transfer market - Well let’s not go there. 2 seasons back we had the guts of a side that was maybe 2 or 3 players short of being a really good and exciting side. Now we’re just rubbish. Still we all go along on a Saturday (Wednesday / Tuesday/ Sunday /insert day as applicable). And watch the same tripe, baffling substitutions and average players. Currently we are desperate for a good central defender, and have been for years. But this has never been addressed. Lennon has little or no money to play with, and to be honest I wouldn’t trust him with my sons pocket money. He has consistently squandered money on rubbish. Indeed this season he has surpassed himself. Danny Lennon is only part of the problem. We have a board of directors that is in disarray. Trying to sell part of something is always difficult. No one (bar Fergus McCann) has made money with a football club, and Celtic was a real opportunity. St Mirren is not really an opportunity – It’s a money pit therefore, not a viable purchase. Given that no one wanted the club with no debt, new stadium and a trophy in the cabinet, would suggest the directors are asking too much and the club is not an opportunity and will not be sold soon. The only way the directors can protect their investment is to try and bring a modicum of success to the club – consistently. Given that each league place is worth £80K higher league finishes are a must. I do not believe this will happen under the current manager. I suspect Lennon’s contract will be allowed to run down (the cheap option) then we will scrabble to see who is available and cheap. Given our lack of resources we need a manager with contacts or a real tactical ability. We have not had one of those for a long time and it’is certainly not Danny Lennon Gilmour – Sort it out
  9. This is a more than fair point. The easy solution would be to organise a game that doesn't count in terms of week in week out, then the next game (Febuary) works of the last proper game (yesterday) but I don't know how feasible this is. Edited for spelling
  10. Genuinely sorry Div. But I suspect you will be back. You'll miss it. Unfortunately your body tells you to chuck it. I'm sure we will still get cameo appearances. night out if nothing else. Cheers for oranising Charlie
  11. I doubt hearts would sell particularly give squad constraints. It won't happen.
  12. I paid that fiver to DIv - cant remember who we were playing But I think it was just before Christmas. You can withdraw the scurilous accusation in relation to my credit worthiness any time you like. Charlie
  13. Luck is merely the integration of hard work and opportunity. Strangely enough, the harder your weork - the luckier you tend to be. I would question if we work hard enough Monday to Friday and fro the 90+ minutes on a Saturday, or whether havign won a trophy saome player think they have made it. I woudl love it - jut once, if Danny turned into John Lambie and ripped into the players publicly (collectively - not individually). Then the fans woudl turn roudn and "say - yeah, your right". If it is out of character it could work wonders. Stop protecting the players, Their big grown up boys who know better. Just sop treating them with kid gloves and treatign the support as fools. We can see what is (or isn't happening on the park. Danny please grow a pair or get a spine transplant
  14. Are we now so poor that a defeat by an average side fails to register badly?
  15. Marginally better than trying to go through an entire season with only 1 striker.
  16. On a technical point, changing from dimples to studs made a phenomenal difference.
