  1. Looks like somebody at the club perhaps saw the £ signs from playing on a Saturday and didn’t maybe look at he wider picture.
  2. Maybe the game will be moved to the Sunday but even then with Scotland U21 playing abroad on the Friday it’s not leaving much time.
  3. No, you don’t have to call it off if you don’t want to. Doesn’t matter whether the player is on loan or a permanent signing if 3 are called up then you can request a postponement.
  4. Wonder if anyone at the club thought of that, surely they did? The Livi game in November was called off because we had Morgan, Magennis and L Smith called up and there is nothing to suggest they won’t be called on again. Maybe the game will be moved back.
  5. Unlikely to decide the title as we will still have 6 games to play..........although you never know.
  6. Written about a conversation with Jack Nicholson.
  7. Donati’s age relative to Jim Goodwin has no relevance as far as I can see, Andy Millen was still playing in the top league when over 40.
  8. But where is the irony with this signing when people have been calling for a ‘Goodwin mould’ type player?
  9. 476 senior games over 18 years, can’t be THAT injury prone.
  10. Would be difficult to get Goody due to his managerial duties at Alloa.
  11. If you like your teams to shell it up to a big guy up front then play for scraps then Jack is not your man, Alex Rae on the other hand.
  12. What a kit, what a team, what a season!!!!
  13. Don’t see what Ross has done wrong if I’m being honest. I’m enjoying the unusual situation of other clubs actually being interested in our manager rather than us wanting him binned.
  14. At least the noble Lord can console himself with picking up his £300 for turning up to the House of Lords.
  15. The money tree is fluid thing and not set in stone. When the club is doing well and more money is coming in the more can be put towards budgets, ditto when income is down then economies have to made (2001/02 season we had to punt Ludo Roy out on loan to save money as an example).
  16. Well there is one who has been quite prominent on this thread.
  17. A young good Buddie is the reporter it's lazy editing/proof reading not reporting. Apologies to the young Buddie but still a bad error.
  18. Should get it sorted before we play ‘David Hopkirk’s Livingston’, typical lazy reporting from the Rectum.
  19. Sure would. Although there will come a point where what other clubs offer will be well out of our range, if that is not already the case.
  20. Yes it is reasonable to make him the highest paid manager in our history. I wouldn’t imagine his current salary would outstrip that of latter years Gus MacPherson who was reputed to be on over six figures. As for keeping kids off the street that is not the responsibility of a private company like St Mirren, although it would be interesting if was put to a vote of Smisa members.
