  1. Well done everyone. Great and very important result for all concerned.
  2. Thommo misses a chance created by Teale ... . Keep going guys......
  3. I'd bring on Teale long before I would consider Harkins ....
  4. Well done Lee ..... http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/spfl/boss-told-me-i-could-leave-but-i-stayed-put-to-fight-for-my-place-138020n.22309334 I appreciate it is paper talk and maybe does not tell the full story however Mair looked match fit and match aware considering how long he had been out the team. And that requires a lot of effort and mental strength so hats off to him.
  5. Big improvement tonight. Keeper is confident and looks able. The back four was a million miles better than we have had since March. Stuck close to their man and cleared their lines with Mair playing some really good balls out of defence. No throw outs to Goodwin under pressure was a bonus. Midfield looked more balanced and worked hard. Thommo's best game since March. The big problem is however where will the goals come from?
  6. Thanks for the kind words Slash. I would like to put something together at some point. I would re-shoot many of the shots as the conditions were not always favourable when I was out and about. I am always going on about some of the great buildings in Paisley so it would be nice if there was a reasonably priced book with some info so we can talk up some aspects of this town of ours.
  7. Your inkling is along the right lines Eddy although I still have a good few pics to post. Just havn't had the time and my enthusiasm for football isn't too great at the moment so not been on the site as much recently
  8. PICTURE 131 shows the side of the builing in Silk St at the corner of Gauze street. Officially designated as 29-31 Gauze Street in the Listed Buildings Register. B Listed. Built 1783. Don't know much else about it. I walked past it many a time and never realised it was so old.
  9. I do not think that others regard Mair as a returning hero. Personally I do not see the sense on one of our best paid players and a central defender not even in the first team squad when the current first team central defenders are giving away goals like its Christmas. The return of Mair frankly could not be any worse than what we currently have and may put pressure on the incumbents to up their game.
  10. Bump .... ...a wee reminder guys that it is this weekend. Maybe catch a few before the game starts .....and the Bull after the game
  11. Do not agree with the violence but the scene in my head made me laugh out loud
  12. Paul didn't make the team but was on the bench against Macedonia last night in a 2-1 defeat. Bale didn't make the team either
  13. Royal Salute is a blend so its ok Miss Saint. And it makes it go a wee bit further. Especially the 45YO at £150,000 a bottle (yes that is the correct number of zeros). http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/B-304-Royal_Salute.aspx
  14. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/spfl/newton-doffs-cap-to-former-saint-dummett-135385n.22059841 Well done Paul in being picked for the full Wales squad.
  15. Or maybe he is waiting on a change of fortune?
  16. Too true Billy, but it doesn't make it right. I am as pissed off with the abuse as the performances.
  17. --------Cornell---------- DVZ-Cheesy-Mair-Grainger --------Goody---------- Teale-Newton-McGinn -------Gowser-------- ------Thommo-------- That is my team to get us out of this mess. We need workers and that is the hardest working 11. I would prefer not to play someone in front of the back four but our defence is so fragile it is required. If the defence was better I would have Bahoken up front with Thommo and Gowser playing just behind where he plays best.
  18. Like everyone on here i am not happy about what I am watching at the moment. However I have a life that isn't dominated solely by SMFC and can put a display of poor football into context. Just like watching a bad movie. Booing or abuse achieves absolutely nothing. Try being on the receiving end yourself and see if it motivates you. Really, try it. Get your mates to give you total shit and see how you feel. Does it motivate you, piss you off or alienate them from you? Danny looks like a man close to the edge. The team lacks confidence. Try and remember the last time you felt down. What helped? Abuse or support? I am pretty sure they are aware there is a problem and are trying to sort it as best they can. If they do'nt the BOD will sort it. If you cannot control your emotions then maybe going out in public isn't for you.
  19. Maybe you can tell us the next time you are doing a job for a paying customer. And we can all come round and watch when on the first day of the job after six mins the customer starts screaming what a useless piece of shit you are and that you should never be employed by your firm and should f**k off home. Wonder if that would help you complete the job to the customer's satisfaction? How would you feel? PS Dont use generalities. Because you are unable to do something it doesnt mean the rest of the world is unable. I do not abuse people. It is possible if you try hard.
  20. Newton was poor in his first 45 mins with us and turned out to be pretty decent. Poor Bahoken only landed at Glasgow last night and I am sure he had to look at a map to see where the hell Paisley was located. The guy is only 21 and hasn't been playing regularly but thrown straight into a game as our savior. Give him a break FFS
