  1. Was called "The Institute" in its latter years. Won Scottish nightclub of the year in the mid-nineties during that particular incarnation. They used to bus people in from all over the Glasgow area. Had some fun evenings in there.
  2. Their lies are finally catching up with them and their true divided nature is there for all to see. Better together? Aye right! http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/home-news/pro-union-campaign-in-crisis-after-minister-admits-currency-union-ban-was-a-bluff.23823233
  3. Can't wait for the Teale/Goodwin/Thompson out threads.
  4. To be fair, he'll be used to that in real life. He's a throbber of the highest order.
  5. You booked on the same flight then?
  6. Despite this, and reducing overall net borrowing, he has however increased our net debt by billions every year during his tenure. Let's hope for his sake, and possibly ours, his massive gambles, sorry, investments, that he's borrowing money to finance, pay off for the country.
  7. Jus booked my holiday out of the country for the duration the tournament....................
  8. St Mirren: Kello, Naismith, McGregor, McAusland, Kelly, Magennis, Newton, McLean, McGinn, McGowan, Thompson. Subs: van Zanten, Goodwin, Campbell, Teale, Dilo, Wylde, Djemba-Djemba
  9. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-26705466 Yip. Here's another one, with a pretty balanced view.
  10. Indeed. If you add in "lying" to this phrase, it sums up fatboy's every post, since this thread started, with the same end result. At least he's consistent with his endless drivel.
  11. The emboldened text sums up project fear's overall tactics. Good article. http://www.heraldscotland.com/politics/referendum-news/osbornes-case-against-currency-union-ripped-apart-by-top-economist.23757346
  12. The North Atlantic Gyre is the reason for the Sargasso sea, which is a largely stagnant stretch of sea water which sits in the centre of this cyclical current. It's a fairly unique habitat, notable for it's sargassum seaweed (which the sea is named after), which proliferates on the surface and has many species which evolved to live in the seaweed. Sargassum is becoming a bit of a problem in the UK as an invasive species as it grows very quickly and is clogging up waterways in the warmer waters of the south of England. The Sargasso sea itself also contains lots of flotsam and jetsam, much like the area of the Indian ocean that is being referred to. I remember doing this at Uni during the year that I studied Marine Science all of 30 years ago.
  13. Aye right! He's reached the pathological liar stage now.
  14. We might have to revise that figure down a bit. http://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/sport/local-sport/mark-stewart-compensation-ruling-could-harm-falkirk-in-the-long-term-1-3346375
  15. Yes. That will be about right. In f**king La-La land. Meanwhile, back in the real world.............................
  16. Same XI as the Killie game. Teale on the bench.
  17. Think we're between a rock and a hard place concerning replica kits and other merchandise. JD presumably offer us a deal where we make more money than outsourcing(?) our replica strips to Provan's and probably give us our wodge at important times during the season. This is pretty important for a club with a tight budget and no overdraft facilities, as Kilmarnock are about to find out. The downside of this, is that JD don't appear to want anything to do with the other areas of merchandising that Provan's have served us well with. This season's combo has served us pretty well, but as AWP says, without the replica strips it really isn't financially worth it for his company. Don't worry though, I'm sure our new owners, as well as appointing the ideal manager, will have it all sorted out to the level of perfection that some our fans seem to crave.
  18. Unmitigated drivel from start to finish. I can't believe you deprived a five year old kid somewhere in the world of the oxygen required to draw a stickman.
  19. According to a mate who works in finance, this highlighted term could certainly be used in connection with the hotel dealings. Also, Looks like a potential cluster f**k of an arrangement.
  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26583407 A lot of wheeling and dealing. They've lost the revenue from the hotel and will still have to service their crumbling wreck of a stadium. They'll have no overdraft facilities, hence Bowie having to inject money to tide them over. Their playing budget will be cut and they must live within their means. Not something they've been used to. An improved situation, but I'd imagine they'll still accrue more debt and they've still got their cock of a chairman.
  21. He's a whining little c**t. Claiming that Brines manhandled him. If he behaved himself instead of jumping about like a spoilt little brat, then maybe Brines might not have have had to restrain him. It doubt it will happen, but it would be great to upset him even more, by beating the bleating, diving "wunderkinds". I've always thought their 'keeper was a bit dodgy, so we need to shoot on sight.
  22. Feel free to do so, you'll only make a bigger c**t of yourself than you already have.
