  1. Have you considered the cost of relegation? What's your opinion on the cost of sacking Rae six games into a league campaign?
  2. Was really impressed with Stephen when he came on. Was sceptical about him signing but I'll happily take it back if he continues in the manner he's started. We'll need his composure and experience in the middle of the park if we're to get ourselves out of this.
  3. Troll? That I am not, I can assure you. I support and back the team like every other fan and will continue to do so but unlike some I'm not blind to what's going on. JR has 2 league wins. That is simply an abysmal record to have. Jim Duffy took over at Morton in League 1. Got them promoted, kept them up and had them on course for the playoffs. JR is on course for his second consecutive relegation from the championship. If you're happy to go down then fine but I'm not, I want to stay up and I don't think saying that a manager that has the record of Jack's to be removed from his post is far fetched. Thinking so doesn't make me a 'knuckle fan'. I'm sorry if the truth hurts mate. I'll continue to believe that we can get out if this until it's mathematically impossible but the fact is that Jack has had zero impact on the club.
  4. I support the team and I'll be there next week but enoughs enough. Open your eyes. Jack Ross's record simply cannot be ignored any longer.
  5. Lose this then Ross should walk, he's had long enough. 2 wins in the league is pathetic. We sacked Rae for less.
  6. Kyle would still be under contract in the summer and a fee could've been agreed, similar to Naismith. Mallan has a 18 months left on his contract. For a team 7 points adrift at the foot of the table, I'm off the opinion that these players are crucial in keeping us up. We'll just need to agree to disagree.
  7. Hope your right mate. Certainly been impressed with our January so far. I wonder if we'll all feel the same if Mallan is sold before the deadline and we lose his goals and assists that could potentially keep us in this league.
  8. You don't build a team at all if you sell your best players at the first chance you get.
  9. That's excuse enough to sell Naismith and Macalister? They also seem quite content on selling Mallan at the first opportunity they've had. Incredibly disappointing from a board who have claimed on numerous occasions to want to build a team around our youngsters. I would say we're in dire need of good players than money right now.
  10. I would probably start with not talking to the press about wanting to build a team around youngsters, then selling one our better players within 48 hours, whilst also in the midst of a relegation battle. The clubs not in debt. We're not crying out for cash but we are in a position we're we could be falling to the lowest ebb in the clubs history.
  11. Regardless of Kyles contract situation this is still a pretty sore one to take. Not even 48 hours after our CEO says he wants to build a team around our youngsters. I'd like to see Tony put a positive spin on this one. I suppose we can't let it detract from what is a massive game this weekend. Onwards and upwards.
  12. To be fair mate I would have preferred to keep Naismith until the summer and lose him in a free than to take whatever County offered us for him. Albeit our defence has been pretty poor this year, I would take Naismith over most right backs in Scotland right now.
  13. Only club that seems to get absolutely jack shit for its youngsters. I would expect a whopping sell on clause for a fee as poor as this. Wonder if the board will be giving SMISA back their 15k and the fans their 8k.
  14. Incredible result! Need to treat our remaining league games like cup finals. Love a wee cup run.
  15. Mcginn would be a decent signing but don't see what he would bring to the team that we don't already have. Do we halt the development of Magennis to slot him in? He hasn't developed into a goal scorer so wouldn't want him to replace Mallan. Quinn, Magennis, Storie, Todd, Fjelde all midfielders. Would be looking for the budget to get spent on a decent winger that knows how to cross a ball.
  16. Probably wouldn't take another midfielder bud. Let's hope he's as special as you say it is.
  17. Don't think we need Dorman to be honest. Centre half, winger and another striker if possible. With Storie, Todd and Fjelde capable of playing there I'd say we're pretty good in central midfield now.
  18. Agreed. We've been totally lightweight when Quinn has gone off and certainly would be choosing Hutton over Mclear for the final half hour of a game.
  19. I said could potentially set us back years as nothing is certain of course until we actually experience it, which I hope we don't. I only say it through past experience of dropping out of the top flight and length of time it took us to get our act together and mount a challenge to get back up. E.g. Hendrie - Coughlin - Macpherson. A lot of big players would probably leave like Sutton and imagine the vast majority of our team would be made up of youngsters, more so than now.
  20. Did we not say that when dropping out of the Premiership? The club needs to stay up, stabilise and get themselves back in the top flight. It's where a club with our infrastructure should be but we have no right to be there on that alone. Dropping down could potentially set the club back years.
  21. Looks like he's getting a run out for the under 20's tonight.
  22. Considering the pressure we were under at the end and having to reshuffle with injuries, that's a pretty decent result. Not ideal but decent.
