I don't doubt that he is a " really good guy " , unfortunately that won't keep us in the SPL which is far more important than conducting oneself with dignity at a back-slapping session !

Sorry , but it doesn't wash. Looks like we give him a different reason every week that saves his skin , this time because he came to a cup final thingy. The cup final was six months ago , and he's f**ked the club since then , he must go , nice guy or not !

The players are forbidden to talk about club matters on social media sites and rightly so. I'm pretty sure Dougie Imrie would have liked to have sounded off at Lennon for not getting a chance , but he waited until he had moved on before doing so !

Danny is not doing himself or Harkins any good by keeping him in the team. The support know that Harkins is a luxury player , a good player to have in the side when things are going well , they also know that he told Shiels to stick it when he was left out at Kilmarnock. The situation just makes Danny look even weaker and it's bordering on scandalous that young McGinn hasn't been introduced at some point at Harkins expense !

Cheesy's not the problem , he has his limitations but he can be part of a new team/regime going forward. It's the journeymen that Danny panders to who need cleared out and replaced.

Still don't see the point in closing it when it's the subject on everyone's lips and this is a forum designed to discuss hot issues ! We are speculating now as to whether Danny will go of his own free will or not !

In the past , a manager with Danny's recent record would already be gone , even with St Mirren men at the helm eg Corson ,Craig , Todd , Currie etc Difference is , they didn't stand to lose personal wealth by sacking under performing managers !

Not so much "over the hill" as they are players with a stronger will than Danny , it looks to me that the senior players have had enough of him and will call the shots till he's gone !

The BOD should have seen this coming weeks ago but instead they looked out the prayer mats desperate for Danny to turn it around to save them money. They'll be sweating now as the nest egg is looking dodgier by the week. So what do they do , pay Danny off or take the financial risk on getting relegated hoping that Hearts and RFC are in the same division ? The silence from them is deafening !

I'd go for season 69/70and two last minute goals , both equalisers, in the space of 4 days in two 3-3 draws. We had been awful all season were in need of a spark and again we were staring relegation in the face . We were 3-0 down at home to Raith at half-time, most folk left but we came back out a different team and Jim Blair scored the equaliser in injury time , 4 days later we were 3-2 down to Hibs in injury time and George Cumming scrambled in the equaliser after Bobby Pinkerton's shot was blocked. These two games proved to be the change in fortunes that we needed and we stayed up with a couple of victories over the Dundee clubs in the run in !

There used to be a Disco every Saturday night in his dance place , it was hoaching with fegs who christened it "Bobby Slag's"

You could do with letting others have theirs , instead of shouting them down !

It's worth pointing out to Lennon that the last manager who won us a cup was on an horrendous league run (2 draws and four defeats in his last six) the following season with relegation staring us in the face when he was bagged , the new guys came in with two games to go and won both of them , with the same players !

Yeah , they drew with Leeds , Liverpool and Arsenal in the games before, between and after our two games with them !

I just think that here's more hope in our performances than actual purpose !
