If the demand is there why don't the club hire some buses and fans can pay towards the cost? That used to happen back in the past.

Personally, I would just like to take the points. All I would say is remember how confident we were going into the first Dumbarton at home game? We had egg on our face. All this 6-0 and 10-0 is fantasy. Brechin are not a very good team and player for player we should be good enough to get a positive result. However, every team deserves respect and I am sure Jack will have the team going into the game with professionalism and no expectations that we win by just turning up. Brechin players will be tired as this will be their third game in a week so we can capitalise on this. I think we will win 3-1 but it won't be a cricket score (happy to be proved wrong).

According to Alan Preston, on BBC Sportsound yesterday, Dundee United have the best squad in the Championship. Personally, I cannot agree with that as they are sitting mid table and 18 points behind us. Anyone agree with him?

I am not saying we played well second half but EVERY team has stinkers. We lost 1 game in 11 and top of the league. As Jack said in his post match interview "we have no right to expect to win a football match" and praised the effort of Brechin. Expecting to win every match while playing well is what we expect from the gruesome twosome from Glasgow. I would remind you that we won yesterday and while not pretty (second half) it was another 3 points. Every team will have patches in the season where a dip in firm occurs. Dundee Utd is a different proposition but we will be up for it.

Yet we scored one and won the game. I cannot believe some on here who act like the bigot brothers and expect to play well and win every week. Even the best under perform and how many other non Bud fans would love to be where we are? How many of us thought after last season that we would be where we are? Yes, the team are having a sticky patch with 1 defeat in 11 and as the finishing line approached nerves will kick in and this is where our management team earn their corn. Yesterday second half was grim but it is a results business and we got the 3 points. Still it keeps Elvis happy.

We have lost 1 league game in the last 10. You admitted it yourself that we are, like all teams, going through a sticky patch. We have no right to expect to win all games of football and you have supported the team long enough to know this. We are top of the league, won the game and got back on track results wise. Next season will take care of itself if we are promoted. Jack will likely read the riot act with certain players who are not performing. Trust the man who has got this team from bottom of the league to the top and well in front.

How did Jack engineer more money? AFAIK Dimdee made an illegal approach and the club told them where to go. The club offered him an improved contract. If we believe what we have read Barnsley asked to approach Jack. If you are in a job and highly regarded every attempt is made to retain you. It is called competition and usually improved or matching pay and conditions is undertaken.

Noone other than Jack and the club know if this is the case or not. It appears likely otherwise I think the club would not have entertained any approach.

Your last paragraph does reflect that Jack is ambitious although winning a championship trophy is better than his current position where he hasn't won anything other than rightful praise for turning the fortunes of the club around. Potential and winning things are not mutually exclusive or guaranteed.

I am just curious as to why our board would allow possible disruption to our promotion drive by allowing our manager to talk to another club while under contract.

Still struggle to understand why, at such a crucial stage of the season, we have given Barnsley permission? This uncertainty must cause some disquiet amongst the players. We fobbed off Dimdee so is this current decision perhaps through a clause contained in his contract?

Why would we include such a valuation option? That simply means any success would lead to our manager leaving. Maybe this is a norm in some player contracts but a manager? How do you determine a manager's valuation?

Wonder why we gave permission for Jack to be interviewed at such a critical time in the season? He has just signed a new contract and the Board would expect him to finish the key job of promotion. A statement telling us they have refused permission ala Wycombe, would show the fans of the Board's determination to hold onto Jack and reduce any possible impact of him leaving. As for Tony? If Jack did travel down south yesterday why would he refute the Barnsley have made no contact statement? It will all come out in due course I guess. Personally, I would have told any approaching club to swivel.

Having beaten them home and away we should have no fears. It will be tough but I feel we are stronger since we last met them.

What were your thoughts on Reilly when we signed him? What were your thoughts on our manager when we signed him? As ever, I will give any new signing the time and opportunity to settle in and judge them only once they actually play in our own team's system and under new management. Some transfers work and others don't irrespective of transfer fees. Time will tell.

We could do with. Tony Andreau style striker but maybe he is out of our league.

Mullen has been out injured and getting match fit. Ffs give him time to get some match time and adapt to his new team mates.
