  1. Or someone will be promoted from within on an interim till sale of the club. Dark days ahead at the club in every aspect now.
  2. If that's accurate then that's terrible news as he is the main guy running the place.
  3. Send your original post to the fans council and see what kind of reply you receive. If anyone is willing to help then it should be them. See what ideas they come up with.
  4. Fans have done more than just discuss the subject, they have even pressured the club into introducing standing/singing section trials. From just last season: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/st-mirren-fans-can-bring-4452270 and before that, way back to 2010: http://www.stmirren-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/sing_and_stand_for_saints_560999/index.shtml The problem is that no one was interested.
  5. Give it up, if you have a genuine grievance then write to the club direct. Why whine about it online?
  6. So, who all piled money on Guillermo Almada being appointed Saints new manager?
  7. Personal abuse, oh the irony............. Just pointing out that certain posters on here love nothing more than to rush online to post their latest 'gossip' from their club insider without thought of betraying said insiders confidence. If you still think this is all about you then you are the dick.
  8. No offence intended but you can hardly expect the vice chairman to give an update to some random in a Chinese restaurant not knowing if said random will then betray their confidence and rush to post the details online. Best way to do business is to keep all potential leaks in the dark or feed them false leads from time to time. It was correct not to harass the poor guy out with family friends.
  9. i wouldnt bother mate, someone has stuck the seller in. whilst we should respect copyright and licensed images etc its also a case of supply and demand. if the demand is out there and the club/official outlets dont supply the product then people like this ebay seller will.
  10. aww come on, its not all bad, i saw a post a little back 'liked' by an ex-director that basically said that a team like st.mirren should accept relegation from time to time.
  11. Fantastic analogy mate, is your name Gus McPherson?
  12. As long as racism is tolerated and remains unchallenged it will not go away. This fanny should be reported to the club so he can be monitored by the stewards in future matches.
  13. Where have a stated that I want change? I have only commented on why people feel they are justified to vent their frustraition through booing. I'm waiting for the non verbal form of dis-satisfaction through the waving of hankies to catch on.
  14. You be missing the point, for many (certainly the majority of people I personally know and on social media) they are booing to get the BOD to act and make a managerial change. Last week many people stated that they would see how we get on against county, qots and Thistle and if we lost all three then that's (to quote Obama) crossing a red line moment. The boos will only continue till the change has been made for many. The board made the mistake of tolerating a split support for many months with Gus, they have that choice to make again, now.
  15. Cheering (when playing well) and booing (when playing badly) is all part of the game and this is what spectators have done since the Incas were booting decapitated heads around courtyards. In our modern pc times people are starting to criticise the negative aspect of booing as akin to abusing employees in the workplace. It's a spectator sport that stirs emotions in people and booing is the most effective way to get the message across collectively on a Saturday afternoon. If you are so against the booing then what are the alternatives?
  16. fs what kind of PC nonsense is this, they are professional footballers, deal with it.
  17. If you pay money for services or entertainment and feel you are not getting your monies worth do you not have the right to voice your dissatisfaction? People have been cheering and booing at the football since its inception, kill that passion and we might as well play behind closed doors and watch it on the tv.
  18. Booing is moronic? At least the fans are showing passion. How do you suggest they display their feelings, organise an online petition?
  19. All I'm pointing out is that its possible to invite your mates and sit with them at present. Many people already do. I'm not criticising the OPs initiative, just letting the person that feels he can't sit with his mates know that he, in fact, can. I've had, on occasion, swapped stands to be with others already and have done this by entering the usual turnstile and explaining to a steward what I want. After they radio their supervisor or whoever I have then been escorted where I wanted to go. If this system makes that process easier then I have no issues with it.
  20. No one prevents you at present choosing to sit in a vacant seat within the stand you are situated. Many people already choose not to sit at their designated seat but instead sit together with friends at either end of the stand where there are plenty spaces.
