  1. Seems like the only thing they could do to be fair. I always liked Top Gear and so long as you didn't take what he said seriously, enjoyed Clarkson's presenting, I'll miss him whether the program continues or not. But it was the right decision by the BBC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-32052736
  2. They are indeed the future, but not, unfortunately the present. I have driven a Nissan Leaf quite extensively and it's a great little car, the downside is the combination of range and charging time, when the first can be increased and the second decreased then I'll happily go electric.
  3. Of course it is, it's a shiny RED one
  4. A night to remember. It was the one and only time I've ever felt like nipping into the Wig & Pen after a match.
  5. Was he not from a telly program Alice Cooper did based on the film "School of Rock"? Either way 24 Is no age, RIP. ETA It is who I was thinking of, but the show was with Gene Simmons, not Alice Cooper.
  6. You'd need one f**ker of a strong rope.
  7. You obviously haven't seen where they built the new Asda in Borrheid.
  8. No it won't, we pay only a peppercorn rent for Ralston.
  9. I would love to know who was surveyed and the criteria it's based on. Were they looking for how close the methadone is to Asda?
  10. Lucky you, firstly you got to see the eclipse (it was too cloudy here) and secondly, being blind means you don't have to read the shite posted on here and as a bonus you get a Labrador.
  11. He didn't. It wouldn't be his place to do so anyway. however, the leader of the SNP, Nicola Sturgeon has stated repeatedly that this is her intention.

  13. That's a nice easy one. We play fort-od games a season and there are only a dozen or so refs who are deemed good enough for the top flight.
  14. I bet it would have great broadband.
  15. Terry Pratchett RIP http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-31858156
  16. I was indeed aware of that, and I am reminded of it every time we enjoy one at my dad's house.
  17. But those ones don't have the St Mirren crest on them
  18. On a cheerier note, I'm looking forward to an empire biscuit on Saturday.
  19. Many, many years ago, back when I lived in that there London, there was a scandal about Aluminium in the drinking water and the harm it could do to the brain. I think the protestors have been proven correct.
  20. No, I think you can be buggered in the Roman Catholic Church without becoming "the blessed" anyone. AFAIK
  21. It's because he was beatified by Pope John Paul I and then sanctified by Pope Bendictus XVI. HTH
