  1. The only comparison with today's team is the similar strip, would love to see a new Fitzy, Aber and Macca in the team just now
  2. I wasn't impressed with him today, in my opinion I thought he was at fault for two of the goals today
  3. All true if you ask me, I mean 2009 I was playing 3 games of 5's a week, now I only play 2 games. I can now hold my head up high and blame the SNP and not old age, lol Biggest load of nonsense, the tories should start by looking at themselves and their austerity measures
  4. Merry xmas to all, seen this earlier: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/paisley-cafe-owner-opening-up-7056020 Local cafe owner is opening up on Christmas day to offer a meal to anyone who is on their own or fell on hard times. Who knows there may even be some on here who would be willing to help.
  5. Hopefully the end for Blatter, totally corrupt in my opinion
  6. Can't say I'm impressed with his appointment but I remember feeling this way when a certain manager arrived back in the 98/99 season. Then Tom Hendrie went on and had a great 18 months leading us to the SPL. I don't care who he played for or who he supports. I don't care what players he upsets as long as results improve. He will have my backing and more as he is now our manager.
  7. Just back, have to say I wasn't disappointed with the story. Set up nicely for Episode VIII
  8. Going along tonight, slightly optimistic but that is just the St.Mirren fan in me
  9. If he becomes the manager, does that mean we get to play with 12 players in our team? Seeing as Mr Goodwin is a ghost according to him. Don't think I would be very happy if he became the new Saints manager

  11. Good Interview, David came across very well in my opinion, cares about the club but more importantly cares about his role in aiding and developing young players to play football. Keep up the good work you and your staff are doing.
  12. Good we article, everything it states is true.
  13. As requested Partick Thistle are set to first-foot St Mirren for the William Hill Scottish Cup clash between the two sides which, it has been agreed, will take place on Friday January 8th with a 7:30pm kick off. Thistle will be the Buddies’ first home opponents in 2016 as both clubs look to kick start the New Year by progressing to the next round of the cup. There will be lots of New Year fun with both clubs already working together to make it an evening full of entertainment, both on and off the pitch. Already confirmed are: * Dedicated sections of the stadium where both sets of fans can mix and enjoy the game together, something not seen in most Scottish football grounds for decades. * A mixed family section for young supporters. * Half time entertainment featuring youth teams from both sides * A Kingsley Vs Paisley Panda face off to see which team truly has the best mascot. Ticket information for the match will be released next week so, keep your eyes peeled, and don’t miss out on this fantastic night at the football. I think the mixing of fans is a good idea,I know a few Partick fans and think it would be a good laugh. If it's on the telly it would be good if the broadcaster had a tv crew in amongst the mixed section. The banter would be braw
  14. There is so much you can do with a £2.60 euro millions win, for me it's a can of juice, 2 packets of crisp and a Mars bar. Nice gesture though, who knows maybe one day a St.Mirren fan will win big, buy the club and then give shares to a supporters group.
  15. The game will be on, that's a good drying wind that is blowing
  16. Didn't rate Fury what so ever but he did box well and deservedly won the fight
  17. Have to say I liked Gus when he was in charge, it wasn't always pretty but you knew what you were getting come kickoff
  18. Can we not just merge all the forums about sacking Murray into one rather staring 4 or 5 new threads everyday
  19. As a great philosopher once sang "Naughty, naughty, very naughty
  20. I once had a conversation with my two wee sisters that involved incense candles but I kept calling them incest candles. My two wee sisters were pishing themselves with laughter and I'm like "wits so funny?"
  21. You may also want to include Managers and Referees in your title
  22. Made a slight change to your post, sorry Shull ;)
  23. I was expecting us to be mounting a push for a play off place. The one thing I thought was certain was that we would win more home games this season, how wrong was I!!!!!!!!!
  24. Seems that your mind was already made up before starting the thread, so no matter what anyone says it will not change your mind about attending the game. It's a shame you feel that way but I can totally relate to your situation as I'm a season ticket holder and on some occasions I can't be bothered attending and don't but it's Morton. Ps one last attempt to sell you the game. If you are sitting in the warmth of your house watching it on the tv then the other half may watch the game with you. Do they know the offside rule?
