  1. A tradition on many Installations, but not on ours.....I am travelling down tonight at seven to go offshore tomorrow at nine. I should have went last Thursday but weather at the Foinaven has been shit. Flights are two weeks overdue now so I am thankful I had this Crimbo at home...Not expected at all. Some of us made it home, but 27 in Aberdeen ,I am glad I missed that one. A Very Merry Christmas to Everyone from Me...
  2. Genesis : A History is on Sky Arts Channel 121 the Noo.......
  3. Skye Crescent......... Memories Rick,....... I'll be thinking of the old times all day now.
  4. Our very own Arthur Montford is of the same ilk for me.... I met him once in the Reception at STV when I was waiting for my Ex Wife Encyclopaedic knowledge of Sport and Golf in particular and an absolute Gentleman to Boot. Despite being a M****n Fan................
  5. Oi!!!!! And remember.....Don't mess with the Baldies either....
  6. That's what you get for not liking the Yes Covers......
  7. Thank Goodness, I feared for your health.....Constant drivel in your Inbox can't be healthy...
  8. Some of the Yes Album Covers are cool....
  9. Unlucky......Let us all know if you recover....
  10. I don't think it is fair to be picking between the three guys for the two available slots....... Billy Johnston and Bobby Reid for me..........or Jackie Copland
  11. Me too, it will be good to find out who gave it to the Pub. Maybe one of our Forum Members is responsible.....
  12. Hi Rick, it must be Shirt day.....When I saw your post I thought I would let you see the Shirt I got last trip Offshore. It belonged to the son of one of the Contract Electricians on the Ship. The young lad was good enough to let me have it. It has a few coffee type stains on it so I am trying to find somewhere to clean the bad bits without damaging the good bits (Signatures)
  13. I don't know yet, I will ask my mate to find out if he can and report back.
  14. My mate has just started a new job in Sakhalin Island, (you can hardly get any further away)[ and is out there doing his courses before going out to the Rig. He got a bit of time off and went to the local pub in Yuzhno Sakhalin and up on the wall was this Top. Brilliant.....We have Global Appeal.
  15. I like some of your posts Lex ,but this is just pish of the highest order. 3 out of 10 if you're lucky. Disappointing IMHO.
  16. I've had a pretty decent bevvy tonight, finished now, tea and toast have now been consumed, off to bed but I will be running by eight in the morning. Ambulance will be called Fitness report will be filed by 10 this morning.......
  17. I am still running, even at my advanced years out this morning through Balloch/Culloden Woods as normal for my five mile run. I have had a stitch recently and was shocked as it was right at the end of the run. Bloody uncomfortable as well but you just run through it. I have been running consistently now since April after a few years break, feel better for it and lost a couple of stones into the bargain...result. P.S. Used to run 10k every day when I was offshore many years ago but five miles a day now when I am at work.
  18. It's Hee Haw to do with you Tony.............
