Sorry. I meant "within my memory and aside from the obvious hatred towards people with whom they share a religion". IF (did) and TF's son (must have) happened when I was very young. Perhaps my lack of knowledge on that subject is due to the pre-internet days when my only contact with saints was pre-season friendlies and crouching over a radio every saturday listening to the classified scores on bbc world service. Not easy to follow div 1 saints from abroad in those days.

So as far as I can tell this is the biggest reason within my lifetime for a Saints fan to, let's say 'resent' r*ngers. Backhanded and despicable by the sounds of it.

If I was part of an organisation and 91% of that organisation voted the same way on an issue I wouldn't insist I was the only person with a valid opinion.

Whether or not it folds it appears the money will be 'lost' to SMISA forever anyway. How do you know it will all be in one lump anyway if you admit to not knowing what the conditions are. Surely the only people who need to know these conditions are the members of SMISA. Is there something I'm missing?

Unfortunately bureaucratic government organisations meet at irregular intervals to determine which projects receive funding. I'd be surprised if the proposals managed to get past every organisation apart from the very last one. It's totally outwith the CIC's control at this point though.

If it's either of those then I'd say the fans have to know as it would render the comments nothing more than a smear campaign fueled by self interest. On the other hand if the CIC does go through then who really cares?

Only got back from holiday at the end of last week apparently. Plenty of time for a deal to be arranged. I'm quietly confident that whoever Danny brings in will be of the Hasselbaink/McGowan calibre. Not too worried for now. If we haven't signed anybody within a couple of weeks, THEN I may start nibbling on my fingernails.
