It is indeed. With Jim going I think I have been more upset than seasons we faced relegation. Those points we were shit. The reason I think I feel so gutted is we are doing well and have momentum. We need that to continue and if Jim stayed we would have had that. At the moment he is gone and we are manager and assistant less, which I feel could stop this momentum and could then start a downward slide. These next 2 games are huge to keep us in about it all. I think if we were hovering at the bottom just hoping for survival a punt on the inexperienced wouldn't worry me as we have yoyo'd in the past. I can see us solid now and we need someone with experience and contacts to help make us THE mid table club looking to push and then stay a top 6 club. If we went this route do you think he could get best out of Greive? Would he be able to spot good attacking player for our budget? I found with Jim he was good at spotting defenders and central midfielders, but could be very hit or miss with with attackers. Sent from my IN2023 using Tapatalk

I don't see anyone from the lower leagues that would be up and coming I would want to take. Only lower league manager would be McInnes, but likely Killie would come up again and likely then be able to get more money. Brown and Naismith I wouldn't mind, but if they had management experience. I think they both could be pricks on the field, but good off it. That was the way a lot of people viewed Goodwin. I would take either if like Goodwin they had time at a lower league team managing. In my head last season I thought we were great. The issue was more draws than being able to finish them off. At the back we were solid and attack needed more. This season the switch to back 3 I thought was there to fit in players we had at the back, but didn't suit the player's we had. Switching back to back 4 has been great to push us on again. I wish we started that way this season. I think we as a club are on the cusp of being able to push on and with the right steer could establish ourselves as a top 6 side if we tweak things and get someone in with experience and contacts. Thinking for end of season we have quite a bit to fill from a starting lineup with Alnwick, Tanser, Jones, Gogic and Ronan off. We need someone who can help get people in that could fill these roles. Would the likes of Brown and Naismith be able to do that? Not sure. I think if our goal was as it was always to just not get relegated, then take s punt on them. If the goal is to establish ourselves as a mid table/top 6 team then we need experience. Who would that then be that's out of a job Jack Ross - talks that he was talking to clubs before getting permission. Not sure if true or not. He has been sacked from last 2 roles. Tommy Wright - I thought did well at Fakes, but was not good at Killie. Not sure about him. Derek Adams - done ok at points, but ego and arrogance could be an issue. I just want this done now. He wants to explore the vacancy. I get they have a bigger fan base and have bigger budget, but if he doesn't get the control he likes, he might not go. If we have ambition we are the same as Aberdeen, but without the budget. Surely every club, other than the OF are the same? In an Ideal world you want to finish highest at 3rd, Want to progress/win cups, want European football? So the control and budget are then the selling points, no? Currently we are are 6th. They are 8th. League cup we both got knocked out 2nd round I think. Scottish cup we are into the 6th round and Aberdeen are out. With it being mutual consent does that mean we have had to pay him the remainder of what his contract would have been, if so, it's not like you can say it's freeing up a wage for a free agent as we would then have had to fork out the money to pay him off instead of having the money there to use on a free agent? I hope to f**k it gets put to bed asap one way or another. I'd be gutted personally as Goodwin was one of my favourite players as he carried out the role I love the most in football that is quite under appreciated in the game (it's why I have loved Gogic since he came. Same as I loved Shuggie). The 3 at the back annoyed me, but still had faith in him. I do wish he continued with the 4 at the back like last season as defensively we were sound. We had draws and just needed goals. I'm glad he changed his ways to see this run (unlike Davidson). I just wish this was over and either Jim said f**k off to Don's and stayed to secure the highest finish for us and maybe even a cup. He would 100% then have legend status with lifting a cup as player and manager. Then he would be offered similar or higher role than likes of Aberdeen and Sunderland. That's what annoys me. We are doing well. Aberdeen are out the Scottish cup, we are not. They have been f**king dire and their defence and their keeper are f**king terrible. Though having like the 3rd highest budget in the league and looking to come at least 3rd and win cups, they are below us. He would be best to wait. Get us to our highest finish in the premiership and become more of a club legend. If you don't build an entertaining team there, they will be at you. If you don't progress in the cups, they will be at you. If you don't finish 3rd, they will be at you. How long has McInnes been without a job? They pay that much that you can sit that long without a job when sacked in a year's time for not delivering all that for them. I can totally see why. He defo brings something different than some of our other higher paid strikers (goals mostly. Take note Main and Erwin). 18 months I get at the time would be best if turned out shite, but should look to sign him longer. Id hope he would do that as we are the club to take the chance on him. With the partnership with the club in NZ, anyone else there that is of similar quality that play same or different positions? Would love if that was the case. We used to be a bit ahead of the game with looking at the ROI league with Jim. Now likes of Motherwell and Fakes are looking there too now due to Brexit I bet. Do we have a partnership in the US? I ask as the quality there now (since we had Dorman) has just got better and better each year. It was taped off and they just formed there. The stewards were trying to remove them and stop more joining them, but were out numbered and not paid that we'll I bet to get f**ked over.
