  1. If he started that he would spend far too much time on the FS improvements to worry about the pesky site maintenance!
  2. A team who have failed to win a home game has the Buddies come a callin'. Hmmm. Where have we heard this before? Let's hope it's Saints and not Santas that turn up. Definitely winnable.
  3. I'm sure a lot of the fans and a few of the players would have been ready to give a couple of fingers to the man in the middle!
  4. My theory on this is that, because the numpty in the middle made us change our kit, their keepers yellow jersey then clashed with our yellow tops and he was given leave to break the rules by that numpty in the middle.
  5. I didn't know it was contageous! http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/revealed-rangers-latest-financial-advisers-2673832
  6. He allowed the Ross County goalkeeper to wear almost identical kit as outfield players. he forced an unnecessary change of kit. He allowed the game to continue until weather conditions were IMPROVING and the pitch was draining without consulting those who mattered. The players. IMO. He did this due to pressure from the losing team. He bounced and rolled the balll as lightly as posible to make the conditions appear far worse than they had latterly become for twenty to twenty five freckin' minutes. He stole an almost certain 3 points from our team. I have seen football played in far worse conditions than those, even at the point when the game was stopped, let alone the improving condition as the weather subsided.
  7. I think they'd be thousands coming out of the woodwork. If The fakes won it they would be dancing in the streets of Johnstone.
  8. Couldn't find it when I went looking this morning. I was actually looking for Collum's showpiece with a view to extracting it and putting it on youtube to extract the urine at the expense of the wee cheatin' ****
  9. The problem is that all the expenses for police and security will still need to be paid for a second game. A club in our financial position might not be able to cover this. I think the best that can be hoped for is reduced admission to a level that will cover costs. Maybe, since it was unnecessary to call the game off, Willie Collum and his cronies should be made liable for the costs though. Edited to say. Beat me to it BinEK
  10. There wasn't a failure in yellow yesterday. That's the sort of reaction we should expect from a defeat such as v DU. They showed a wee bit of the "Willie Collum show" on BT sport today and I was amazed by Craigan's statement that the ball didn't bounce nor roll. I'm sure his guide dog could correct him though.
  11. There is a BIG difference between paying someone a lesser amount because they are learning for their and the employers benefit and are not as productive and NOT paying someone who is expected to be productive to prove that they are willing to work. The problem with YTS is that it could be abused by unscrupulous employers to circumnavigate the minimum wage rule. An apprenticeship is an educational tool and should always be, as far as I'm concerned, indentured.
  12. So. Reading between the lines. You Turned up,... when you felt like it. Proved yourself useful, in your eyes, ... when you wanted to. Did little when there. Thought that, even though you were just in the door, you could tell them how to do their job better. Talked down the people who actually got paid to do the work. A perfect excercise for the real thing,...eh? I fail to see why the "real" workers felt the way they did about you. By the way. As for the highlighted sentence. Never has the old adage, "Self praise is no honour", been so apt.
  13. Muggins here would love to add another mug to his collection. (Which includes a Shug mug fae his testimonial.)
  14. Hardly personal abuse. Even for such a sensitive soul. It was you who decided to empart on the world the fact you were openly using yourself as a tool to potentially, effectively fcuk peoples chances of paid work. Then again. Maybe you are correct. After all. A prostitute actually gets paid for doing the dirty deed.
  15. I've left the sensible part of your post in. And even that is dubious since it contains your name.
  16. But I did read your post. In particular I read this. " I was unemployed a few years ago and volunteered to do some real work in offices and reception areas of a Community Centre. I didn't get any extra money for what I was doing and paid for my own travelling expenses etc. and all I heard was "with you here I have less to do"." You were effectively giving yourself over to slave labour and stopping the need to employ a "real" worker or give the employer food for thought to reduce staffing levels and continuing with your trend. Now. You may think it was OK to prostitute yourself at the expense of someone demanding reasonable recompence to do the task in the hope that some external employer would look at your record and think, "Hmm... This guy was willing to work for nowt. I wonder if we could exploit this a little further.", but I think it abhorrent to hold it up as an example to be proud of. I would have slinked into a dark corner and hid that act of desperation from the world.
  17. I cannot agree with people working for benefits when there are others looking for work. If you were doing a necessary job then you were taking a job, however temporarily, away from a job seeker and were being used, all be it, in your case volunarily, as slave labour. Whether it was government or private is neither here nor there. The fact of the matter is, IF you are doing a job of work, you should be paid the going rate for that task. To employ means to use not abuse.
  18. Edited like a true "better together" man. Just take the bits that suit your agenda?
  19. Not true by a long shot. I know of many "Yes campaigners" who have a deep mistrust of Salmond and his nanny state policies and who, if independence is achieved, will ditch the SNP faster than Saints lose a lead. Myself included.
  20. How could you not agree with his sentiment? As far as I am concerned, if the government make folk work, it should be for a wage of similar standard to those already employed in those tasks. What a Feckin' load of nonsense this policy is. By all means make sure, as much as is possible, that shirkers don't live of of my taxes but that can't be by making someone work for less than the legally binding minimum wage as well as giving the likes of burgerking free workers. The ruling party can't be exempt from laws put in place to prevent almost slave labour.
  21. Watching the replay maybe General Nonsense would be more appropriate?
  22. Do you still need to learn "THAT handshake" when you join the force? just askin'.
  23. Yes. But in Abredeen only Black Widows indulge in Doner Kebabs!
