Terrible thread , 90 minutes of new season and here we go again.I still believe one of our best seasons is going to be this one.There will be 2 new faces before next league game which is much needed , however 4 is what's really required in my opinion. I do however take on board the comments some of which you can't argue with , but sack the manager ? I don't agree at all with that.

Was supposed to be announced by this weekend allegedly , delay relates to Campbell not Newton , the preference is to keep the lads together its thought.

Sadly we no longer have anything close to what we can describe as a 'National team' There seems to be no shoots of recovery , no willingness to turn up & no desire on the pitch. The one person regardless of how effective they are who does play for the shirt is Kenny Miller in my opinion. The days of players wanting to turn up are long gone , the so called modern professionals pick and choose when they want to play & seem to make miraculous recoveries to play for their clubs a matter of hours after a national game. There is little or no pleasure in watching the football played by our shockingly poor national lack of ability and desire squad. The occasion should be good , would be nice not to park the bus and try play the game and who knows we might surprise ourselves and get a respectable result.

By all accounts including , though I have no inside knowledge or secret PM messages to offer.The Grainger thing is not certain.

Against the general consensus , I think we will register our best season for some time in the league. I admit that the idea of choosing so called easier opposition for pre season games allows a run out and the chance to get confidence up should we get good results, however I would rather iron out issues in these games prior to league starting. 3 new signings will be announced prior to season start to add to what we have , we will be fine and roll on new season

All joking aside , with what we released and the little till now we have signed up , if you include the 3 signings to come 1 perhaps 2 this week and 1 next week , we are still low on numbers. Doesn't take rocket science to know there are signings being lined up , but 1 of the 3 should generate a lot of discussion.

You are aware love street has things 'bubbling away' ? this will blow his 'sit tight' technique out the window !See , those who know nothing say things like "sit tight" , "can't reveal my source" etc etc when in real terms we all know there will be 3 signings before window shuts so your little revelation actually looks credible but that's only one of the three but nice to hear things have stopped 'bubbling' and started happening

You could of had them sooner , but the BOD at the time felt it was best to keep that idea 'bubbling away'
