  1. Sad thing is that the result and the way we went about losing the game isn't a surprise. This a manager and a group of players that almost chucked a 3 goal HT lead in the bin a couple of weeks back. Celtic will run up the goals on Sunday and we will start to unravel.
  2. The timing is questionable to say the least and the destination at best bizarre. Can't help seeing a bit of a parallel with Goodwin and Hamilton a few years ago. He moves from Accies to the Buds and we survive as they go down. Time will tell. Lee was always going to move on and I hope being at the Jags proves a catalyst for a move into coaching. The worry must be Danny's ongoing difficulties in recruiting defenders of quality. As it stands, he's weakened an already frail defence. He needs to quickly turn things around or County and the Jags will carry the momentum following the transfer window. Lastly, given his treatment by Danny this season, I think Lee has acted with great dignity. Never whinged, especially on Twitter, making it clear that he was always available for selection.
  3. Correct. However, when Neil Doncaster gets involved the smell of bullshit suddenly arises everywhere. I would have more respect for the man if he was honest and stated that the SPFL is shitting itself at the thought of another big fan base being lost to the top league.
  4. We'd only sign him then consistently play him out of position anyway.
  5. Tiresome to hear the old 'we're a wee team' and 'success for us is just being in the top flight' excuses being trotted out. Outside the OF, the Embra clubs and Aberdeen, who isn't a wee team in Scotland? Hasn't stopped ICT, Motherwell, Fakes, Utd, etc, all making a decent fist of top 6 football. If this attitude prevails throughout the club then a lot of individuals from the BoD, the management and players should take a good look at tha elves and think about moving on sooner rather than later.
  6. One point from six against below us in the table. Nothing much has changed. Can't help feeling if will be back to biting finger nails March/April time.
  7. Simply reverse the score line from last night's fixture and give the Well the three points. Repeat the medicine every time an offence like this happens. Both halves of the Old Scum think they just have offer a lame apology and wave some cash for repairs at the 'diddly' club and it's all okay. BTW, one assumes that the police and stewards, not to mention CCTV, we're present? No arrests then?
  8. Sorry but you've misread the policy. The section you've highlighted only relates to those 'who do not wish to attend' the rearranged fixture. Those who will be attending, should they hold the orginal ticket, are indeed entitled to free entry. To reiterate, the club is in breech of its own policy on this matter. A policy which is as current as January 2013.
  9. See your point on the costs. However, the club has clearly stated in Clause 5 of its published Stadium Regulations: If the game to which this ticket gives access is postponed or abandoned for any reason the ticket will be valid on the rearranged date. No charge should be applied to any fan who has a ticket stub for the original game. A lesser charge is a breech of policy.
  10. Shill is nearly right. Property developer will buy it then it will accidentally burn down.
  11. Won't happen in time to save Dundee's neck. You can guarantee that the SPL will delay any such decision to ensure that a club, no matter how financially incompetent, with an average close to 10k stays in the league. They will not repeat the 'mistake' that happened with Sevco. *cough*
  12. Lead by Chick Young who has just finished spouting drivel about his true (blue) love......
  13. .....and at what point in the last few months have Sky said they are pulling the plug on any TV deal? Sick and tired of this nonsense. If the BoD and the CIC believe a no vote in respect of the newco will bring financial armegeddon they should clearly say so. They are both in danger of alienating the supporters at the very time they need them if the club is to survive going forward.
  14. In the early 90s, I remember working beside a guy who was a big Pollok Juniors fan. He told a tale that, one Wednesday night, an after hours drinking session in the social club was interrupted by a worse for wear Charnley and a couple of other Thistle players celeberating the winning of the Glasgow Cup a few hours earlier. Chic was going around pissed, tears in his eyes, telling anyone who would listen that this was his greatest moment in fitbae 'cos it was his first cup winners medal.............a few hours later he was trying to give it away to anyone who buy him more booze.
