  1. It transpires that Hopkin is 3rd or 4 th largest shareholder at Morton. He’s a shoe in for that job if Livi fail to gain promotion. Considering the job he’s done with such limited resources I think it’s silly not to consider someone like him, if we required a new manager. If he was given the budget we have for the premiership then he would probably make very good use of it, given the superb job he’s done with Livingston. Not the prettiest football to watch but very effective. Who’s to say he won’t be a more effective manager at a bigger club with more resources.
  2. Depends on your opinion, so by your reckoning he can’t step up a level because he’s currently operating in the championship? He was a regular starter before he lost his place through injury, and had been talked about as a real prospect by many within the game.
  3. Josh Mullin was very impressive tonight, he took his goal superbly. He did let his man get a free run for the first eaqualiser, but overall looks a very good player.
  4. I would take a chance on Stanton he’s impressed this season and while on loan at Dumbarton last season.
  5. Seems that Shanks has finally got the message that you can’t play at a decent level if you can’t get to grips with fitness. He’s looking very fit and in good shape, his goal scoring record for Ayr this season has been phenomenal, but could he do it at the premiership level. He’s a natural goal scorer but will one of the bigger clubs take a chance with him.
  6. It was a post on the QOS transfer thread where someone asked where Holt was going after his contract at dens expired, the reply was a PCA with Saints.
  7. QOS fan on the pie and bovril site suggesting that Kevin Holt the Dundee left back has signed a PCA with Saints.
  8. We brought him back from QOS where he was on loan. Turned out to be a master stroke by Tom Hendrie.
  9. Spot on with your assement on O’ware. He’s nowhere near good enough for the premiership in Scotland. I’m sure Jack will be looking at better options to boost or squad.
  10. Div saying on twitter they have sold about 400 which would be about 100 more than Livingston had last Saturday. It’s a shame so many buddies are looking for tickets yet the North stand will have 1200 empty seats.
  11. Have to agree with other posters here, the end of last weeks league winning game against Livingston was spoiled by the PA system belting out loud music when all we wanted to do was hear the west stand singing and enjoy the moment. Hopefully the club won’t make a similar mistake this Saturday. Let us the fans create our own atmosphere and give the W6 & 7 boys a chance to belt out some of our own songs.
  12. It was a glorious night for me as it was the first time that I had seen us Win a relatively big cup competition. The northbank that night was packed and the atmosphere for me as a daft 17 year old boy was superb. The semi final against Bolton away will always stick more in my memory ,for the last min Jimmy bone diving header which sent about 1500 Buddies into an absolute frenzy of delight and relief. The bottles bricks and anything else that the Bolton thugs could find was not such a pleasant experience. Neither was my mate driving the wrong way out of Bolton directly back towards said Bolton thugs. memories
  13. So you don’t wish to see Sammy Extend his club record of clean sheets.....
  14. At what point in the conversation could you string a coherent sentence together You drunken wreck.....
  15. I just googled the last time Morton played top flight football. It’s been 30 years
  16. The useless Greenock mutants won’t sell 500 never mind 1000. They should be shunted into the corner of the north stand with a Temporary segregation barrier and stewards so that more saints fans can attend. The old firm can do it so surely we could too. I suspect that won’t happen as the cops and the club will say no.
  17. It’s not difficult to stand out in a team like Dundee Utd who are a quite dreadful outfit. Doesn’t say much for us last night as we huffed and puffed our way through a nervous shitfest of a game. We really don’t need players for the top flight who failed with one of the worst sides in the dead clubs history. There are plenty of better options that I’m sure Jack will explore before considering such a liability like Mohsni.
  18. Did I just see someone suggest that we sign Mohsni for the top flight Jesus f**ken wept that’s one way to guarantee a quick return to the championship.
  19. One game lost in 17 and seven home games without losing a goal is amongst the top form of any club in Europe. I honestly don’t see how anyone can be critical of what the management team have done. In 99% of previous games the tactical switch of taking Smith off and replacing him with Baird has worked out perfectly well, but we got done with two set piece goals. We are the best team in this league by a country mile and have nothing to worry about, the title is in the bag. Jack Ross and James Fowler will make mistakes and Jack basically said so in his post match interview, that perhaps it wasn’t the right substitution but I reckon he’s earned the right to make one or two mistakes given where we are now.
  20. On the evidence of yesterday's display our players are looking very much up for the remaining fixtures. There was a steely determination to our game yesterday and I can't see many if any teams in this division who can match our will to win games. We have the best players the best squad and we are without doubt the outstanding team of the division. It's f**king glorious to be a buddie given where we were last season.
  21. There you go again, I haven't mentioned anything to do with wishing mental illness on anyone let alone you. It's actually quite amusing that you and the likes of Shull continue to troll this site and then spit the dummy when you get called out for it. As I said before, you go ahead and fill your boots.
  22. So you are effectively playing the victim now that I've asked a valid question. Can you explain to me where I insulted you ? I pointed out that in my opinion that you were trolling or attention seeking. I stand by that opinion and the majority of posters probably think the same. It's a fitba forum so you batter in with your agenda until your hearts content.
  23. Debating an opinion on a open forum is perfectly acceptable and you are perfectly entitled to express your opinion. But everyone and their granny can see you have an agenda with Jack Ross,no matter how successful he is and no matter what he does while at the helm of our club. You are either trolling or you are some kind of serial attention seeker. Maybe you should look at what Jack and his management team have done to galvanise the club players and fans and actually enjoy what's going on at the moment, as it doesn't often happen for clubs like us. There's something special going on and you must be the only bud with such a negative take on where we are as a club at this time.
