Be a helluva ironic if Div was fed the South American story as a way for the board to force the English consortium into accepting terms better suited to the board...and instead the English consortium walked away. Either way the board will not look good. Using someone like Div, who the fans trust and does so much to help the club, to promote a false statement would be shocking imo.

Seems like a statement released in anger. Perhaps due to the realisation that they have been strung along by our board for months. By all accounts this bid had no chance of happening, yet these guys believe they were heading up on Xmas eve to finalise the deal. So why not air some of the boards bad habits ie leaks from club for all to see as retribution.

I don't disagree with the decision, just sum's up the way the club is run at the moment. If Teale is making these decisions just give him the job. I wonder how many of our players will score more than Drury all season...sadly not too many I'd guess.

If the decline started with Danny Lennon, 8th, Cup Win, 8th. I must have missed us peak. No mistake, this mess is solely down to the Board of Directors and the lunacy in letting Lennon go with the sole intention of promoting Tommy Craig. I don't even blame Craig. I expected it to be a disaster, was branded a knickerwetter and a keyboard warrior by our chairman, (cheers for that by the way Stewart) for having that opinion. Yet was proved duly correct. As you say, we are heading into a dark period and this Board are responsible for it.
