  1. Seen this incident also and the police simply grabbed the wrong guy. A quick check on the CCTV should be enough to clear Josh. Not sure why it's taken this long, unless of course the CCTV footage doesn't exist. Surely the club have looked at this? Suggested an SLO on a previous thread as a point of contact for situations just like this. Good to hear the club are considering it. Some of the policing in Scottish football is a farce. Can really ruin your enjoyment of the game. (not that any of us get much enjoyment recently) Dont want to lose my love for the club but situations like this are making it difficult. Putting profit ahead of doing what's right for a genuine supporter is pretty pathetic.
  2. It can't just be the manager. Does anyone in there know what the f**k they are doing? Tony's a lovely guy but going on about winning the league by 2019? Wtf. Team needs gutted from top to bottom or it will genuinely die. That's the hard truth
  3. How many points has langfield cost us? bombscare
  4. Need someone to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. Unfortunately we don't have that player at the moment. Need a Simon Lappin or an Andy Dorman
  5. Did that to me before when I was in Poland. Try logging out and logging back in
  6. Langfield – punt but only we can find a better option. No point in him being a coach, he makes basic mistakes himself. Offer him a playing only role and if not he can GTF Gallagher – punt, too feart to be a keeper Wilks – keep Naismith – keep for now, but needs to start finding form or he’ll be out in the summer – if a replacement is available on loan or free then this position is up for grabs Webster – keep, has experience but don’t think he should be captain, needs to focus on making less mistakes himself before he gets any responsibility – get your shit together man Irvine – keep, another one that needs to concentrate on his own game. Is ok when he does the simple things right Jordan Stewart – keep, big fan of Jordan. Quite composed and can pick a pass Baird – keep, could develop but not first team quality yet MacKenzie - keep Gordon – punt, not good enough unfortunately Morgan – keep – been thrust into the 1st team too early imo, good impact player but shouldn’t start as often Hutton – punt – gave him every chance but sadly he is rotten, expected more Quinn – at the moment he’s on the punt list, bit of a passenger Mallan – keep. Needs to lay off the bevy and get interested in his football again Walsh – keep, he can play either wing, chips in with a few goals. He will do Lewis McLear – Keep, good youth player, has potential Gallagher – punt, if we keep Walsh he can go Kyle McAllister – keep, give him a run in the first team Magennis – keep, think he is our most promising youth player Hardie – punt - he will be off in January anyway Shankland – keep, needs to stop being a pie though – send him to climb up and down Ben Nevis for a week Clarkson – punt, got too many strikers Sutton – keep, best striker we have JR should aim to mould the team into a 4-2-3-1 shape Keeper – Langfield (or better option if available) Left back - Stewart or Irvine Centre half pairing – Webster & Mackenzie – Baird as back up Right back – Naismith (or replacement if available) Defensive mids – Quinn and a replacement (essential to replace Hutton asap) – young Magennis could be an option here Attacking mid 3 – Mallan middle of the 3, Walsh I feel could play either side. Got the options of McLear, Morgan, McAllister and Magennis. Should be enough Striker – Sutton. Shankland as back up. Sutton always first choice however Edit to add - Sutton should be made captain. Only one capable of driving on the team, based on evidence this season
  7. that's perfect for our current team, bring that back
  8. We're gonnae get pumped Rotten Reverse psychology
  9. I always liked the Latin motto of Paisley Grammer "Disce Puer Aut Abi” Translates roughly to- "Work, or get out."
  10. As a support, it's something we need to stop doing. Saying Jack is the wrong man is madness, he's not even been able to change anything yet ffs
  11. Yes I think you're right. The team has no spine, no leader. The core of the team is empty. Like you say, we need a warrior, not a wean. Magennis was the only spark in that team last night but you can't rely on youth and plodders to keep you in the league.
  12. Keeper - dodgy - doesn't inspire confidence in his defence. Sub keeper looks nervy, not sure what Rae seen in him Defence - shaky, no leader. Baird does his best but needs a solid centre half next to him. Ben Gordon isn't the answer. MacKenzie injury prone, unreliable. Naismith has been off the pace since his injury sadly Midfield - lazy - no real connection between the players, lopsided. Mallan seems to enjoy his bevvy too much, takes forever to get into the swing of a game. Has talent though. Stephen, if you read this - get out the bar and get your head in the game, absolute waste Strikers - too many - can't fit them all in the team. Giving the manager a headache and it's not a good one. Competition for places is one thing, but that position is absolutely flooded. Clarkson and Shankland to go for me. Hardie and Sutton are actually worth their place if they get service
  13. Well done the club. Good to see stuff like this. We should be promoting the club wherever we can!
  14. Vast, vast majority of Paisley folk are decent A few weapons of course
  15. For 16-19 year olds at international level?
  16. I disagree. Know for a fact that the players discuss what's said on here and on twitter etc
  17. Players and managers use the internet. If we want to improve as a club, a good place to start would be promoting a bit of positivity online. Negativity is infectious
  18. The undertone of negativity in this thread title is unneccesary. Basically the same as the Rae one that was used to give him pelters at every opportunity. Can a mod change it to something different? "The Jack Ross positivity thread" would do
  19. Love it. Think a good innovation for the club would be an official snapchat account, behind the scenes footage etc. Really popular app. You can get matchday filters etc on there too. Would be a good way to promote the club to young people. Lots of clubs down south doing it.
  20. Local team innit? Hated the old firm growing up so St Mirren were the obvious choice. Best team in the world
