faraway saint
Swansea sack Michael Laudrup...........there's a good move. Wins the league cup, gets them into Europe and some nutcase of an chairman want's more. The lunatics have taken over the asylum right enough. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26042067 Another shocking decision. Agreed. billyg
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26042067 Another shocking decision. It's not a shocking decision at all , they're in danger of losing their place in the top league and are doing the right thing to try and prevent it ! Just because he won the League Cup last season , it doesn't mean that he's safe from the sack !

Fulham haven't managed to stop the rot though.
Guest TPAFKATS
I've got a treble on from start of season that includes stoke to go down. Come on Hughesy! Classic timing from the Swansea chairman and a quality interim appointment - the club captain. FFS sounds like he's been reading "striker" from many moons ago! Is this the guy who let his 17yo son be a ball boy against chelsea last season?

Dundee tried it last year, costly contract for less than a year.

RickMcD
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26042067 Another shocking decision. I'm not so sure it's such a shocking decision from the point of view that Laudrup has more or less made it public knowledge that he might walk at anytime or possibly hang about until the end of the season. He sounded like Jim Trott out of The Vicar of Dibley at times. In terms of what Laudrup achieved the sacking seems unfair abd possibly if he'd shut up it wouldn't have happened. He'll get another job soon.
