pozbaird
1 word - maggots (not his maggot). Not maggots. In Ikea they are Skaggenmaggotsmegabords.
oaksoft
I fecking hate Ikea. Honestly Shull by the time you've walked through the whole f**king shop to get to the wee bit with some food in it you could have had three fares worth five times the price. Some things just aren't worth the saving. Oh aye and if you walk through the whole f**king shop with a child or a lady you can bet your life you won't just be coming out with meatballs You have to be pretty stupid to think you need to walk through the entire store to get to the food. Anyway, back to the real world, I LOVE Ikea on pretty much all counts.
Isle Of Bute Saint
You have to be pretty stupid to think you need to walk through the entire store to get to the food. Anyway, back to the real world, I LOVE Ikea on pretty much all counts. Fully understand the attraction and value for money at Ikea. The one thing that freaks me out is if a fire was to break out in the building , there so much going on with furniture and colour that it's hard to see the fire escapes. A building like that would be engulfed with flames and smoke very quickly you don't want to be inside there should that ever happen.

Deekthebuddie
Just left the Swedish store with a bag of frozen meatballs. Only £4.35. Noticed, whilst leaving , some of their Cafe prices. Cold drink with hot dog - £1.25 Hot drink with 2 doughnuts - £1.00 Ice cream cone - £0.50 ( similar size of cone at Pollok Park - £1.80..) Outstanding prices at Ikea. Going home presently for 15 meatballs, mashed tatties, peas and gravy. Lovely. The food prices in there are great- And love the meatballs with Gravy and Lingenberry Jam- When heard about meatballs with Gravy and Jam, thought It would be foul, but its really nice

Which is great. ETA. Stuart, did you usually find you'd worked up an appetite, by the time you've got to the food counter?
