"Aw bless" one might think, perhaps shedding a silent tear for their own lost youth. What they sang however was the following:- "My ex-man brought his new girlfriend She's like "Oh, my god!" but I'm just gonna shake.And to the fella over there with the hella good hairWon't you come on over, baby? We can shake, shake, shake" I tried really hard but an involuntary bark of laughter escaped. The wee boys didn't flinch and continued their song shaking their hips as they went - one of them even corrected his mate for "getting the move wrong". In my day I'd have expected the local yobbery to apply electrodes and a car battery to my finery to teach me a lesson. Life is so much better now IMO.
