Nope. He couldn't have. Rangers were on their way to death row and voted to allow the newco entry into the league setup.

Can't be in two places at once.

Eh?

We're talking about Rangers here aren't we? Stewart Milne was one of the first to state that he would vote against Rangers keeping their place in the top flight. It was Gilmour and Martin Johnston who were going to vote to keep Rangers up. Gilmour even managed to get the majority of people at the small gathering in the Boardroom, and the group of fans he addressed sitting in the Main Stand to vote in favour of him keeping Rangers in the top flight. Something changed Gilmours mind and on the day Gilmour voted the right way - against Rangers staying in the top flight - Johnston abstained. We then had the rather unedifying position of watching Stewart Gilmour castigate the SFL bosses who refused to place the newco into the 2nd tier, instead agreeing to reelect the newco back into the SFL in the bottom tier of the senior game.

This re-writing of history is amusing if not puzzling.

Just to let Milne, Houston and any other Bigot sympathiser know.

The Premiership only needs the best Teams to play in it.

Not the f**king biggest.

The Media are really trying their best to make sure the The Newcunto FC 2012 get promoted under any circumstances.

If they finished bottom, look out for a new top division of 22 Clubs.
