faraway saint
First game back on Wednesday 17th featured Aston Villa? Will McGinn be fit and ready? Villa, which I said early in the season, are strong candidates for relegation so a win in this game could fire them up from 2nd bottom to the heady heights of 16th, and safety. They play high flying Sheffield United who, if THEY win, could be 5th................................never seen that coming.
St.Ricky
Boring. Boring. Nothing to beat being there. At worst it's like wearing wellies and paddling in the sea. At best it's like wearing a condom whilst having sex... Whatever that is.

southsidebud
I've deleted the original message on the NowTV sports pass - its £20 pm for 3 months - not £20 for 3 months. Only decent value if you plan to keep it I guess. Back to the fire stick for me 🙂 Edited June 10, 2020 by southsidebud

Although I prefer next to free via the Firestick. It's going to be strange, from nothing to overload.

Firestick is exceptionally good value - I also have one 🙂 The NowTV Sports Pass makes it a bit less fiddly but £20 is a bit too rich for my tightwad blood ! faraway saint
Watching another of the current Saturday night Match of the Day programmes. This one is top 10 Premier League games. Again, with the money available it's going to be top class, but, with all "snippets" it can look better than maybe it was. Couldn't BBC Scotland put something similar together for the Scottish Premier League? No doubt my pet troll will be along to post another exciting comment. St.Ricky
Watching English Football live on TV is boring (imo) No skin in the game. Watching reruns........... No thanks.
faraway saint
Today's offering on BBC1 3:00pm is Holland v England, Euro 96. This'll be painful, one Dutch goal sent us out again.

Jammy b'strds the Dutch, their goal went through Seamans legs. What a strike from McCoist for the Scotland goal, and from outside the box. Out on goal difference again when we could have been in the quarter finals with a decent side.

faraway saint
Next Saturday night, live on BBC1, Bournemouth v Crystal Palace. Normally I wouldn't bother with a live game on a Saturday night (That could translate into I wouldn't get a choice ) but as current Saturday night TV is mince this might be an option. faraway saint
Just over 48 hours till the EPL kicks off. 1st game, 6:00pm kick off, Villa v Sheff Utd..................................might watch it, depends how the negotiations go as the next game up, Man City v Arsenal, KO 8:00pm, is a MUST. Both games live in ma hoose. Are these games going to have the crowd noise played as yesterdays Spanish game was pretty decent?

All gloss and little substance.
StanleySaint
But haven't you said before that you enjoy seeing the best players showing their skills and that was in relation to the ugly sisters, surely watching the EPL will outshine the talent those two currently display.
