The Scottish government  has set aside £5million in a sport bond to assist supporters to buy their club.I am sure our Smisa boys are on this !

Why only the boys?

I wonder if the club have been holding back regarding the ladies team with this in mind.

Come off it Waldorf, you know that any grant would mean unwanted close scrutiny of the association.

Why ? Meaning ?
There are very clear criteria, measures and key compliance indicators that have to not only be met, but be clearly seen to be met in proving real benefits that build resilience in the community before any funding application can even be considered.
Smisa and the club as they are now configured would not meet those. Just look at the £50k smisa took from its ringfenced fund and gave to a private company!

This isn't a bad thing, SMISA and SMFC by virtue have the same aspirations and goals and it would be beneficial for them to be configured. Us Vs Them mentality could be damaging... But we know that's your (failing) dream.

As for the £50k, it's been pointed out to you many times that this was the democratic will of the membership, to release this from the ring fence and the means to replace it has little to no impact on the BTB deal. It has also been pointed out to you that there is a direct and indirect community benefit element to releasing this money, which complies with relative regs.
