Top 5 Albums Your Currently Listening To

Recommended Posts

Ah,big Maggie. She was rideable as fúck. :D

Your Silent Face is one of my favourite New Order songs. Good shout.

Fuxake is this the HHiBSS patronises every post you make thread. :P

Robert Shaw went on to make some very good albums as Mighty Math - not to sure what he is doing now.

Power Corruption & Lies was one of those albums that breaks the mould, a wee bit like The Cures Concert Album.

Stones - Let it Bleed

Ramones - Adios Amigos

Metallica - Metallica (Black Album)

Nirvana - MTV Unplugged

Warren Zevon - Stand in the Fire

I would say that there are some great choices there (especially Stand in the Fire & Let it Bleed) but don't want to some across as patronising. :)

Vienna - Ultravox

Levitation - Hawkwind

The Hawk is Howling - Mogwai

Time on Earth - Crowded House

Buddy Holly Lives - Buddy Holly & the Crickets

And just bubbling under, Can't Buy a Thrill by Steely Dan.

1. 100 Reggae Hits Volume 1

2. 100 Reggae Hits Volume 2

3. 100 Reggae Hits Volume 3

4. 100 Reggae Hits Volume 4

5. 100 Reggae Hits Volume 5

Cheap but not totally nasty reggae collection which amongst the rubbishy 80s covers includes the brilliant:

007 (Shantytown) - Desmond Decker

Rudy A Message To You - Dandy Livingston

Liquidator - Harry J Allstars

54-46 Was My Number - Toots & The Maytals

The Harder They Come - Jimmy Cliff

Guns of Navarone - The Skatalites

..and that's just on Disc 1!

A winner for the iPod :)

Depeche Mode..Exciter

You going to see them in Glasgow?

Heard Andy P on an interview last night with Mark Radcliffe. Mind you, he was under his pseudonym of Sir John Johns from Dukes of the Stratosphere.

Not goin to Depeche in Glasgow Young Howard...was at Metallica last week couldn,t get a decent view of the band ,unless you get in early enough and dont move from the spot you are in..thats why i never went to see Smashing Pumpkins the last time they were here and why i never went to see Tool either...Metallica i just couldn,t say no ...i wish i had now...they sounded brilliant..but its all down to the view..but thats the reason i probably wont go back to the Secc..Ah the mightyAndy P....wish that man never had stage fright and we would get a tour out of Xtc.
