Your initial post indicated the smaller teams had "as much desire" which isn't, unfortunately, normally a deciding factor.
Bigger teams will, normally, show desire, although not always, which, mixed with more quality will see them win more often than not.
Using a shock result, that's why it's called a shock, like Darvel doesn't disprove my theory in the slightest.
