He's got a big job ahead of him, no doubt.  My worry is we don't have a great league Cup start, which we are notorious for, and McLeish gets the hounds on his back. 

A lot of negativity on here about the upcoming appointment. A lot being made about our poor performances in the split games. What people need to remember is what he was actually left to work with. At least the last two windows the recruitment from the club was abysmal and you can add in current players rewarded new contracts when, imo, they should have been moved on I will certainly be giving the guy a chance but realistically this could take 3 windows to get the players he wants and move others on. Reading on here and P&B the guy is going to be up against it as the bulk of the support wanted a "name" to be appointed. (Maybe they looked at the state of our squad and thought better of it)  

Our most successful spell in decades and we can be thankful the board have been instrumental in getting us there.  Some of our support really need help.
