There's not one striker we can look at right now and say he'll get us 10-15 goals this season. Very concerning Vàclav solid as ever, could have easily been 4/5-0 if it wasn't for the big man pulling off some fantastic saves.

Goody was down in Cumbria last night watching Carlisle vs Forest Green. Someone on Twitter suggested he was there watching ex Villa youngster Harry McKirdy who has 4 goals & 5 assists in 8 games for Carlisle.

Danny's a hard worker and gives his all for the team but I'd hardly class him as a proven goal scorer. 5 league goals last season compared to Simeon Jackson who arrived in September and scored six goals before the end of the season. Hard to see where goals are going to come from this season as both our main strikers (Morias & Obika) have had poor starts and don't seem to offer much up front.

As the earlier post said, Kirky could have easily downed tools after agreeing to join Rangers but he didn't and put some cracking performances in between March and the end of the season. He was a key member of that 2005-06 team that done the League & Cup double so it will be great to see the big man back in Black and White.

Thomas O'Ware supposedly told he can leave Thistle. Their fans are raging as he's one of their best players. Was always very impressed with him whenever we came up against M**ton Does a good Undertaker impression [emoji23]

Shambles. The referee was clearly out his depth and shouldn't be refereeing in the top flight. Constant cheating/time wasting from Livingston, hitting the deck whenever a challenge went in, GK booting the ball to f**k when Ginto scored and wasn't booked But the fact is we didn't deserve to take anything from today's game. First half we were all over the place, A much improved 2nd half but we didn't really threaten the Livi goalie. Big improvements needed for Dingwall.

What are the chances of us getting Lewis Morgan back on loan? Heard he's been struggling so far this season for Celtic so they may opt to send him out on loan again.

Wrong match bud. We beat Port Glasgow 16-0 at Ralston but it was just the U20s that were playing alongside a couple of fringe first team players. Danny played in the 2-0 win over Carlton YM in 2010, Kenny McLean and Mark Lamont with the goals.

Ex France U20s left back. Had trials at Dundee (last season), New York Red Bulls and Austria Wien before ending up in Bulgaria with Levski Sofia.

Thought Cammy Breadner was outstanding tonight for Saints, wouldn't surprise me if he is the next young player to push his way into the first team permanently. Great run and finish to win the game for the young Buds Looking forward to seeing how he progresses throughout the season.

I don't see how there will be more wear and tear when SMISA members have just paid for a brand new astro turf pitch. Personally, I think the woman's team would enjoy playing at a pitch which is considered a home ground rather than just a sports centre used by everyone.

Tbf this is the first time I've seen that page with fixture lists etc so I'll at least that's something that the club have done to try and promote the woman's team. But I totally agree, why are they playing at a local sports centre when we have a fantastic state of the art training facility just up the road?

Delighted that SMISA members have voted in favour of funding the woman's team new equipment and away kits. It's time though that the club itself improve the way that they treat the woman's team I regularly look on the official website and see no information about their upcoming matches, no match reports, highlights of the games, interviews with Kate Cooper (coach of SMFC woman's) The club have really neglected the woman's team since they formed a few seasons ago, they were happy to be in the papers taking all the credit for starting up the team but you need to give them the publicity they deserve instead of handing them a set of strips and equipment and basically saying get on with it

Seen Calum Waters name mentioned a few times on here, played under Goody last season at Alloa. Killie are currently in talks with Lennard Sowah, ex Hamilton LB. If that deal goes through, they may decide to let Waters leave given they have Greg Taylor at the club.

Highly rated young CB from Ireland. Hull and Preston were both in for him this summer. Most likely means Mihai will not be returning this season if we now have 3 CBs
