  1. I have to say that is pretty much the most uninspiring draw I could imagine. I suppose Arbroath away might be decent, especially if @faraway saint throws a party for us all...

I don't like Thistle, but they were robbed today. Should've killed the tie off on Thursday, but.
  3. Just posted this in the Baccus thread: I see @CraigyBoy has already mentioned this, but I thought I would provide a source. FWIW, I think Baccus would be a significant loss; but if we were to get good money from his departure, I would take it.
  4. I hate meaningless games and I'm resentful that we through this away. However, we have had a great season and I'll be there to thank the players for their efforts. No pressure on us tomorrow, so as @st jock said, let's play some youngsters.
  5. That's ruined my Saturday before a ball has been kicked...
  6. We need Celtic to finish off Hibs and we take it into the last game. We have pulled off three good results against the Old Firm, this would at the very least make the last game meaningful.
  7. Great to see Celtic have regained the lead. It wouldn't have been much fun for Elvis supporting a team that wins every week. We should be encouraging Old Firm fans who see the light. I know of four.
  8. Baws! 1-0 down and a player down...
  9. Glentoran, but importantly I wanted them at the Oval!
  10. We can win this game, we have proved it. Aberdeen look to have stalled, too. But which Saints team will turn up? The one that beat Celtic at home, took a point off Rangers, got a point at Parkhead and won comfortably at Tynecastle, or the one that lost at home to Killie? I cannot see Hibs beating Celtic, especially after the complacency shown by the Champions recently.
  11. Who can honestly claim they expected that today? We honestly could have, and possibly should have, won it. Everybody knows we have a good team and a good manager. The trouble is they seem to throw it away. Europe is back on the menu. We can beat either Aberdeen or Rangers. Hibs have two games against the Old Firm and an Edinburgh derby away at Tynecastle. We need them to lose all three games, and pick up at least three points, unless they get a couple of spankings to equalise goal difference.
  12. Sickening to drop points like that. It was in the bag. Had we won that we'd have been a point behind Hearts and Hibs! Now we need at least five points from our last three games, which would be a minor miracle.
  13. Hibs last four fixtures: Aberdeen (a) Rangers (h) Celtic (h) Hearts (a) I can honestly see them getting nothing from those last four fixtures. If we beat Hearts and they lose to Aberdeen, who have won 7 from their last 8 fixtures, then we're back level on points. It's still possible.
  14. Win this, and we're likely back in the hunt for 5th, but we will obviously need something from our last three games.
  15. We're the only Scottish club to beat Celtic this season. We held Rangers to a draw...we can play well. We were the better side in the second half. Given Hibs' gate was over twice the capacity of our stadium, it's not hard to see why we're at a disadvantage financially. We are punching above our weight. Let's not be too critical, and instead be realistic about our prospects. As a club we need to grow, it's a long term plan we need.
  16. Both sides are quite inconsistent. If we turn up and play to our full potential, then the three points, or the very least a point, are in the bag. I'd like to think Killie are our bogey team. Hopefully we can bounce back from that today. The forecast is for thundery showers today from 14:00 hrs. Will that suit us more?
  17. It coincides with the Coronation and many people are struggling financially. Have we definitely failed to sell out our allocation, btw?
  18. I amended my vote today, as I think I was too hasty in casting it initially. I will admit to having been influenced by P&B posters, who don't seem to think much of us!
  19. I think it would be too late, unless they have yet to post it. If it hasn't come by Thursday, I'm sure someone on here, who's going, might be able to pick it up for you. I live in the East End and am working, nut could potentially arrange for someone to go for you on Friday, if the club agree to it.
  20. I don't want to alarm you, but I do not trust the post. I think we should do what Killie did, and have an SLO hand them out outside the ground. We could charge a fee which will pay for the SLO's travel and a wage. I think for £1.50 that would be reasonable.
  21. I'm not the only one who likes to count dots: https://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?362209-Attendance-v-St-Mirren Apparently they have sold over 14,000 tickets for this, which should mean a good atmosphere.
